No Country doing good restores my faith in the film going public. I am Legend making that much is not surprising, the Midnight screening on Thursday nearly sold out (all 3 of them) and all the Friday night screenings sold out around here. I guess its good to see a movie making a ton of money considering the fact that the box office totals have been down over the past few weeks.

Quite shocked that Golden Compass hasn't done amazingly well.

Quite shocked that Golden Compass hasn't done amazingly well. actually it's doing incredibly good overseas it's already made over 50 million in its first week and that's only in 27 foreign territories, it will be released in over 60.

Hopefully it can actually make more than 250 mil, what a crazy budget.

This film has video games, action figures, books, clothing, accessories, etc...

Damn, I Am Legend took some names.
No Country for Old Men keeps moving up! There is a god. But then I go back to not believing in one seeing that Alvin and the Chipmunks made 45 mil.

The big shock for me is Alvin and the Chipmunks. I expected that could have bombed.

The marketing for Alvin and the Chipmunks was too good towards kids to bomb. I have a 9 year old and a 4 year old and they have both been begging me all weekend to go see the movie. I can't recall any other time they both begged to go see the same movie.
(We are going tomorrow..haha)
