I think Ali G, that film made me cry when i watched it, Borat however made me chuckle at one or two things nothing special though.

Borat, by far. I never found Ali G to be very entertaining.

I've never seen the Ali G movie. Isn't it just like a "regular movie" about the character, unlike Borat which stuck to the show's roots of unscripted interviews with people?

neither, the US version of his TV show (Da Ali G Show) was the best home for the characters.

I'm a huge Cohen fan (I am the proud owener of an Ali G suit, ha!) but the Ali G movie was pretty bad. It wasn't clever, it was the same jokes you can find in many other "Teen" movies.
Borat was far superior.

Borat. I didn't like Ali G the movie or the show.

TBH I liked his show the best. I love all of his characters, but they are much better in smaller doses.

Ali G Indahouse.
I guess maybe some people in the US didn't understand the jokes or something? Sorry if I'm wrong I just remember it being pretty much based around the UK sorta stuff.
