The Ramones helped me find my "nitche". idk why, but I mean I heard music before and thought it was like "Yeah it's pretty good" but I heard the Ramones and I found what I liked. Enough for me to dish out $80 for 3 cds and a dvd of their career. A couple of my favorite songs: These two ^ v are tied for my favorites. (amazing cover) Anyone else a fan? I got into them about a month before Dee Dee's death, and it ing sucked when I heard Johnny died.

I don't listen to very much punk nowadays, but I still have a lot of respect for The Ramones. They wrote so many great, catchy songs.

I don't think I ever quite "got" The Ramones. They are punk, yet they have harmonies. I was always into the more hardcore punk music, like Black Flag and Minor Threat. Although I have nothing against The Ramones, they were an okay group, I enjoy a few of their songs, I just never quite got them.
Speaking of music, Hilton, you've got some good taste in music.

Blitzkrieg Bop, Sheena is a Punk Rocker, Rock N Roll High SChool, and I wanna Be Sedated are all faves of mine.

Ramones... the first 3 albums were gold. 50's melodies done in a whole new way. Johnny's the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place

I'd say my favorite song is probably Rockaway Beach. But "Loud, Fast: Ramones Their Toughest Hits" has so many good tracks on it

Check out what the last living Ramone is up to these days: I actually got to see Uncle Monk live. They're pretty good.

He is the last ORIGINAL member though. That is something to brag about. And elvis ing sucked. He is the drummer for Blondie and he only played 2 gigs.

I really like them, have for a long time my favorite song by them is WE WANT THE AIR WAVES. Great song, I love punk rock, and early punk rock as well.

Their first album is fantastic, but all in all I prefer The Clash.

Ive never known Ramones covered Have You Ever Seen the Rain. CCR is one of my all time favorites so when I downloaded this (legally) I was stoked that it was pretty good.
