As the subject queries, does anyone on here have a friend or relative who works for a channel? Specifically, a channel like ESPN, Travel Channel, A&E, Discovery, Food Network, Spike TV, Bravo, regional Fox Sports networks, Versus, MOJO, HDNet, or something along those lines? My friend an I have a show we'd like to pitch, and need a way to get in. This thread can serve as banter about knowing someone at a channel, and it can also help me out. I will certainly give a reward to any solid contacts. Without giving anything away, it's the kind of show those networks are looking for... reality, documentary style series that includes food, drink, sports, travel, etc. So the production costs are fairly low and no entanglements with the writers strike. We have it copyrighted and registered with the WGA website, but I'm still cautious of releasing details on the internet. Thanks for any help in advance!

Nope. Most of the users here range between the ages of 13-17, and have very slim contacts.

My doctor's son is a production assistant for Saturday Night Live, but he doesn't really have any "in's" with the company.

As an intern my friend got a free haircut on our ABC affiliate once. He'll make sure you get a greyt deal.
