Pretty sure the reason the Hannah movie raked in so much, despite only being on 700 screens, was because it's only running for like a week.

Still great to see Juno up there, it deserves it. As does There Will Be Blood, I just got back from that, great movie.

Pretty sure the reason the Hannah movie raked in so much, despite only being on 700 screens, was because it's only running for like a week. "Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, was only supposed to play select theatres for a week, but ticket demand has forced Disney bosses to extend the project's big-screen run. The new movie becomes the biggest opener during a Super Bowl weekend and breaks records by topping the box office charts while playing at so few theatres - it opened on Friday in just over 2,000 cinemas, picking up an average of over $42,000 a venue."

On a side note.
Is anyone surprised that Rambo went from 2, to 6, and never even hit 1?

It is definitely surprising to see Juno holding out and doing so well. I didn't expect Cloverfield to drop so quickly, but I am relived to see Meet The Spartans drop to 5 in a week. Next week it hopefully drops out of the Top 10 all together.

Well the Hannah movie does cost double. It's in 3-d also from the places I've seen it. Doesn't suprise me. Lots of little sh*ts out there that worship her horrible lip syncing and well it's f*cking Disney and they figure out ways to rule the world.

Sad that Cloverfield is bombing now, such an incredible film. I was really hoping that it would break $100 million.
