I was wondering if anybody has any thoughts or opinions on the direction Daniels' character has been taking since the transformation. He's one of my favorite wrestlers and I for one thought it was really cool when he had his little feud with Sting. It seems like lately especially ever since he rejoined XXX that they kinda forgot that he changed. There has rarely if any been mention of his change or the "higher power" he keeps talking to.I just really want to see something come out of this because from what I heard he plans on retiring before too long.So if anybody has any opinions or knows anything I would love to get input on this.

as far as i can tell he likes acting like damein demento and painting tribal designs around his eye....being back with triple x doesn't exactly help the gimmick much now either-seeing as he was painted as some kind of dark, paranoid loner. as with many tna angles and gimmicks it seems it's an enigma that's been either dropped or pushed far into the background leaving us to guess about it.

You mean, his lack of gimmick?
Daniels will never get the full attention his skills deserve, unless he leads a team or is in a singles' run.
He might lead XXX, but with Low Ki in there, I don't see him as leader. Also, XXX doesn't really fit his character.

are you trying to say that Senshi or "Low Ki" is bigger than Daniels?

Not bigger, but Daniels and Low Ki would be a difficult match to decide, and my bet would be on Low Ki.

What happened to TNA repackaging him and giving him a push into the heavyweight division? I don't call making him grow a beard and painting some gay symbol on his face a new gimmick. And why the hell is XXX back anyway? They have done absolutely nothing since reforming. I'm Elix Skipper is back and all, but what is the point of them being around? If I'm not mistaken, they have only had one or two matches anyway.

Christopher Daniels, one of the many balls dropped by TNA.

I honestly think XXX got put together, simply, to have a Ultimate X Match at BFG and to give Senshi and Daniels something to do, once they dropped his potential feud with Sting, but they had to make it Sting vs. Angle.
Hopefully, Daniels and Senshi both get their singles' pushes. They both can hold up with ANYONE in TNA.

I was so happy when they put sting and daniels together, couldn't believe they ended that feud so early and with such a quick match
