Ventura used to be an announcer for WCW's rival, World Wrestling Federation before falling out on bad terms. WCW's New ShowNew Show on Thursday NightsWorld Championship Wrestling has aquired another prime-time slot on Ted Turner's TBS on Thursday Nights. WCW unrevealed the name, and the logo a couple of weeks ago, now being called "WCW Thunder", as expected Mikey Tenay and Larry Zybysko will be the two men booth, and it has been expected that a major "PPV-like" match has been booked, and won't be revealed until WCW Monday Nitro. It's expected to be huge, very huge.. WCW reachs deals with SponsorsBringin' in the Money!World Championship Wrestling has reached deals with the following sponsors, Nintendo, Sports Illustrated, McDonald's, and Castrol GTX. WCW opens NWA WildsideHome of Few WCW SuperstarsAs World Championship Wrestling is overloading with the roster, WCW has sent a few wrestlers to join the upstart promotion. WWF Firings & ReleasesWho got fired? Who was released?Joe E. Legend, Gangrel, Prince Albert, K-Krush aka Ron Killings, Erin O'Grady, Andrew Martin, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Vic Grimes were let go from their contracts. Also Adam Copeland, Steve Bradley, Scott Borders, Tiger Ali Singh, Shawn Stasiak, Christian Cage, Scott Taylor, Honky Tonk Man, Long Time Employed Brooklyn Brawler, and Sniper The most shocking is Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy, considering they were getting very popular as a tag team. As well, Gangrel being released is another shocker. Erin O'Grady was expected to debut as Hardcore Holly's Cousin later this year. Scott Borders was getting ready to gear up as a "Porn Star" Gimmick, and under the name of "Val Venis".

Guys, I may have to cancel this already..
I made a few mistakes, and I decided that I will revisit this 1998's era, but this time around.. I'll be paying attention to it.
Always do research and ideas before you do anything outrageous. :-P
Mikey, if you could.. Lock this up?

I was looking forward to this but i will make a suggestion if you do the WCW thing do from 1999-2001 and try and make it better. I'm actually researching right now, and I feel that the outcome of Starrcade kinda screwed up my plans, and basically I may just start from Starrcade 97'. Although I was considering 99' and 00'. Right now, the thing about 98' that really interests me is how... this was the year that WCW shoulda bury WWF but they failed to do with the mis-used of Bret Hart, and among other things such as Fingerpoke of Doom. I do have the storylines, angles, matches, all planned out and researched carefully.
