NWA:TNA – After Against All Odds
OOC: I’d just like to start here and say, I got the inspiration to start this from two places, the first being the last TNA Pay-Per-View which was excellent as always.
But, what really made me want to do it, is because I’m sick of seeing people try TNA and book it badly. It’s becoming the only thing that we even get out of TNA diaries here…
I’m looking to change all that.
-
June 19th, 2002 – TNA makes their debut, putting on their first of many weekly pay-per-views.
June 4th, 2004 – TNA debuts TNA Impact, their first nationally televised show.
November 7th, 2004 - TNA debuts their first ever-monthly pay-per-view, Victory Road.
October 1st, 2005 – TNA moves Impact to Spike TV, bringing their first ever fully televised, television show to all of North America.
These are just a few of the big moments in TNA history, now after a huge title win for Christian Cage at Against All Odds, could Christian change the whole dynamic between WWE and TNA? Is it possible that Christian could really bring TNA into the worldwide stage? Only tell can tell…but one difference in this alternate reality, the Spike TV/TNA deal for a new timeslot never went through, TNA wanted 2 hours, Spike didn’t so they couldn’t come to terms. No new deal…still Saturday at 11pm.

OOC: There is the start, lets hope my craving to do a TNA diary allows me to stick with it for a good while, I’d just like to let you all know two things about TV, first Xplosion is canceled for the diary, because I can’t book two TNA 1 hour shows, with one being a B-Show, 1 hour for a main show is still a short time, but having another hour for a b-show will result in way to much un-needed booking and un-needed wrestling for the roster, second, even though the deal “fell through” with Spike in diary, I’m still going to work to get one, I just did that because of the way TEW’s TV structure works, where I can’t just get a show at anytime, or get one and then set a date for it to debut.

Updates On TNA’s Roster
Abyss – Selling any injuries from Against All Odds match against Rhino for a few weeks, will return before Destination X.
Apolo – Apolo has been given another chance by TNA management despite no showing a few live events where he was scheduled (More on LAX below)
Austin Aries & Roderick Strong – The two are being punished by TNA management for working an RoH show that they were told not to as it may have put their appearance at TNA’s PPV the next night in jeopardy due to weather conditions. Aries has more heat on him then Strong does, based on his recent attitude about his current push.
Chris Sabin – Had a small ankle injury on last weeks iMPACT and Pay-Per-View, should return shortly.
Dave & Earl Hebner – Earl will continue to ref large matches, but won’t take so much of a storyline role, and the same with Dave, he will just be working backstage now rather then in the on-screen role he’s taken over the past few months.
Homicide – When on LAX member comes back, one leaves. Homicide has decided to end his contract with TNA. Word is that Homicide was outraged at how TNA was acting with the Strong and Aries, suspending them for working an RoH show against their wishes, Homicide taking this harder then most probably has to do with Homicide not wanting the same fate if he chooses to work his RoH dates when TNA has no control over him on that day. Machete (he was the original sub for Apolo) may be back, because of Homicide’s absence, although LAX may just be a two man group.
Jeff Hardy – Hardy has been fired from TNA, despite still showing up on their roster page on the TNA website. Chances are, Hardy will be back in the near future, like in the past when he was “fired” for the same
Jerry Lynn – Lynn is working backstage right now still recovering from injury. Lynn’s return should be looked for sometime between May and August.
Johnny Devine – Devine is recouping from an injury, should be back in between the end of February and the middle of March.
Kevin Nash – Looking to work a few shows, TNA Management hasn’t expressed any interest in it though.
Sabu – Sabu has taken time off after the Barbed Wire match against Abyss to recoup. His return should be soon.
Sean Waltman – Waltman in a similar situation to Hardy, should be back in time, much like the other instances of his “firing”
Sonjay Dutt – Suffered a concussion at last weeks Pay-Per-View, will return shortly.
Shane Douglas – In Rehab for Pain Killer addiction.
Sting – Sting only left on storyline, should be back for a match on PPV in the next couple of months before making a full “return”

OOC: Everything on there is real life stuff other then Earl And Dave (I don’t know that situation) and Homicide, that one was just a judgment call on my part, and the storyline seemed to fit (It also had to do with him not wanting to work for TNA in my game )
