DUDLEY BOYZ vs CHRISTOPHER NOWINSKI & RODNEY MACKBubba & D-Von took it to Nowinski & Mack early, as the unknown quantity seemed to catch Mack & Nowinski off guard. Nowinski & Mack was able to regroup, and kept D-Von in their half of the ring for most of the match. D-Von escaped, making the tag to Bubba, who hammered the Mack & Nowinski with a series of chops. He then sent Mack to the floor, but Theodore Long’s interference allowed Nowinski to hit a dropkick off the apron, giving Nowinski & Mack the advantage once more. Mack & Nowinski then did their best to keep Bubba away from his partner, but the former tag team champion was able to catch Nowinski with a clothesline and tag in D-Von. Once D-Von returned, he & Bubba cleaned house. D-Von & Bubba went for the 3-D on Mack, but Bubba walked into a superkick from Nowinski. Regardless, D-Von was able to tag Bubba once more, who nailed Mack & Nowinski with a double Bubba Cutter. Bubba then hit a Bubba Bomb on Mack, while D-Von nailed Nowinski with a DDT. Bubba then pinned Mack, earning the victory for the experienced duo.

RIC FLAIR, BATISTA & RANDY ORTON vs KANE, ROB VAN DAM & BOOKER TRic Flair couldn’t even get out of his full-length robe before Kane went on the offensive in this six-person tag team match pitting World Tag Team Champions Kane & Rob Van Dam, & Booker T against Evolution.
Luckily for Evolution, Batista was able to find his way into the ring and focus on Kane’s injured left shoulder. With Kane down, Orton took to the top rope and launched himself from the turnbuckle. The high-risk maneuver, however, proved to be costly, as the powerful Kane caught the Legend Killer. RVD was then tagged in. RVD held Orton up while his tag team partner hit a clothesline, a la the Hart Foundation. Kane then helped up the fallen Orton while Booker T took out Batista & Flair, & RVD hit the Van Daminator on Randy Orton, which was followed by the 1-2-3. Triple H came out after the match with a sledgehammer and took out Booker T. Batista, Flair and Orton meanwhile assaulted Kane & RVD. Evolution stood tall in our main event.
