Backstory : It's December 2000, and a blockbuster announcement has been made by Vince McMahon. Vince called it a ''Christmas present for certain 'extreme' fans''. Extreme Championship Wrestling has gone bankrupt, but Vince McMahon has purchased ECW, and is going to keep it running. Vince has said it will be new and improved but will keep that classic ECW craziness. Vince announced the new ECW roster as this : Al Snow Buh Buh Ray Dudley C.W. Anderson Cactus Jack Chris Benoit Chris Jericho Cyrus Dean Malenko D-Von Dudley Eddie Guerrero Jerry Lynn Joel Gertner Joey Styles Jushin Thunder Liger Keiji Muto Kid Kash Lenny Lita Lodi Perry Saturn Raven Rhino Road Warrior Hawk Rob Van Dam Rowdy Roddy Piper Sabu Spike Dudley Steve Austin Steve Corino Stevie Richards Super Crazy Taz The Sandman Tommy Dreamer Undertaker And the WWF roster as this : Big Boss Man Big Show Bradshaw Bobby Heenan Christian Chyna D'Lo Brown Edge Faarooq Goodfather Grand Master Sexay Hulk Hogan Jeff Hardy Jerry Lawler Jim Ross Kane Kurt Angle Matt Hardy Maven Mr. Ass Nidia Paul Bearer Rikishi Road Dogg Scotty 2 Hotty Shane McMahon Shawn Michaels Stephanie McMahon Test The Rock Triple H Trish Stratus Val Venis Vince McMahon William Regal X-Pac Vince then declared all titles vacant and he has created and retired some titles. Here are the current titles : WWF World Vacant WWF Intercontinental Vacant WWF Tag Team Vacant WWF Women's Vacant ECW Heavyweight Chris Jericho ECW Television Vacant ECW World Tag Team Vacant ECW Lightweight Vacant Vince also announced RAW will be renamed WWF and SmackDown will be renamed ECW. Heat will then become WWF vs ECW. PPV's will be joint brand and Kurt Angle, since he was the last WWF Champion, will be in the WWF Title match at Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble Match will contain 15 men from ECW, and 15 from WWF. The King of The Ring tournament will be 16 guys from ECW, and 16 from WWF. The first WWF show, I forgot to do results, so here is the basic outline : Goodfather defeated Bradshaw by interference from Val Venis. Right to Censor beat down Bradshaw after the match until Faarooq came to the rescue. The Rock was shown arriving. Marissa Mazzola interviewed Shawn Michaels about his return to the ring, and HBK said that he can't wait to get back in the ring. HBK then introduced Maven, his protege who will be making his wrestling debut tonight. HBK also mentioned he will make his wrestling return in the Royal Rumble Match. X-Pac defeated Maven after countering a victory roll into a pin, and using the ropes for leverage. X-Pac then taunted Maven, until Shawn Michaels came down and attacked X-Pac, and threw him into the ring where Maven beat him up. Vince McMahon then came out, but was quickly interrupted by Triple H. He demanded that he take on Kurt Angle at Royal Rumble. Vince was about to say yes until Hulk Hogan came out ! Hogan disagreed with HHH, saying that he should earn the title shot. Hogan then said HHH hasn't done anything to earn a title match. HHH then called Hogan a hasbeen, and washed up. They then brawled as lots of superstars/backstage workers tried to break it up. Vince then announced it will be Big Show vs The Rock to see who will face Kurt Angle at Royal Rumble. Lita and Nidia defeated Stephanie McMahon and Trish Stratus when Nidia pinned Trish. Nidia and Lita celebrated after the match. William Regal was then interviewed, saying he will be in the Royal Rumble Match in a few weeks time. Kane defeated Big Boss Man with a chokeslam. Boss Man attacked Kane with his nightstick after the match. The New Age Outlaws then called out a tag team that they said were ''acting like their the best tag team in the world'', the Hardy Boyz. NAO and the Hardyz started brawling. Edge and Christian were then interviewed. Edge and Christian said that one of them will become WWF Champion at WrestleMania after one of them wins the Royal Rumble. Edge and Christian then argued about who will win the Rumble and the WWF Title. The Rock defeated Big Show after Kurt Angle accidentally hit Big Show with the WWF Championship. Big Show then attacked Kurt Angle after the match to close the show.

I really like the idea and everything, but just copying EWR results is harsh. If you want it easy just tell the result of the match and how it happened, but copying and pasting EWR results makes it look pretty bad. And try to appeal to the cosmetics a little more, ya know, add some bold, underline, color, that crap. But this has potential to be pretty damn good.

I like this diary so far. It's got a solid storyline running IMO. The one thing that I think needs improving would be copying EWR results but, you already said you would take care of that. Overall, it's got a good start.

Now THIS is another interesting diary. It seems we're getting a lot of new upstart diaries that are really fun to read and see develop. This has a great storyline, and the ECW roster looks nice. But as mentioned before, copying and pasting EWR results is sorta harsh. I look forward to seeing this diary continued.
