It's still a loss for the upset Alex Shelley. **** *Nigel McGuinness is seen backstage. Nigel has some words for Colt Cabana.* You know what, Colt? I'm beginning to grow... to respect you. You're a tremendous talent. What do you say we end this disrespectful stuff? You know... this is Ring of HONOR. Let's make this last match out of respect. What do you say we make our match at Dissension... a good ole' classic Steel Cage Match? I mean... yeah... it's brutal. But there doesn't have to be hate going into this, Colt. Have you ever seen a Steel Cage Match out of respect? Chances are... you most likely haven't. Do you want to make this a first, Colt? I can't wait to hear your response, next week. By the way, the "Pure Title" rules are still in play. There's a difference in this Steel Cage Match though. You can't use the steel cage as a weapon. It's only there to keep us in the ring, to settle this thing. There's nothing pure about using the steel cage as a weapon. And yes... this has been labeled the "Final Chapter" to our singles series feud. Who's to say there won't be a Three-Way Match or even a Four Corner Survival Match down the road, for the ROH Pure Title? That's if you don't win it. Colt, there's no more singles matches after Dissension. Next week, I'll be defending my title against anyone who steps up. This is it. It's do or die time at Dissension. *Ring of Honor has announced that the final team competing at Dissension for the ROH Tag Team Titles will be... Jimmy Jacobs and BJ Whitmer.* ROH World Title Match: Delirious vs. Bryan Danielson (c) Delirious runs around the ring in circles, getting the crowd pumped up for what will be his biggest match ever. It sends Danielson to the outside. Delirious hits a Suicide Plancha! He throws Danielson back into the ring. 1...2... Danielson kicks out. He goes for Shadows Over Hell. Danielson hits a flying European Uppercut as Delirious was coming down. Cattle Mutilation! Delirious might tap. Delirious gets to the ropes. Danielson brings him back into the middle of the ring. Goes for the Cattle Mutilation... Delirious counters it into a roll-up! 1....2..... NO! Dragon almost lost the title. The title is looking a lot shinier tonight. COBRA STRETCH IS LOCKED IN! Danielson is trouble. He might be tapping soon. He cannot reach the ropes from here. He has to think of a counter. He tries to roll out. But he can't! Danielson is in trouble... serious trouble. Danielson tries to bridge forward, but he jars his neck. That isn't going to work. He tries to roll to the left. But Delirious is blocking his roll. He looks to the right. He rolls out of it! NO! Cobra Stretch is still locked in! And Danielson is STILL nowhere near the ropes. He fake rolls to the right and tricks Delirious. Delirious lets go. Danielson blasts him with a roaring elbow. Both men are down. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... Both men get to their feet. Danielson hits him with a Dragon Suplex. 1...2... He tried to turn it into the Cattle Mutilation, but his hands weren't in position like they would have been if he were going for the Tiger Suplex. He puts him into a surfboard stretch. He crashes his legs down. He puts him back into the Cattle Mutilation. Delirious might tap this time. Danielson turns it into a roll-up. 1...2.... Delirious kicks out! Danielson quickly goes back into the Cattle Mutilation. Danielson turns it BACK into a roll-up! 1....2.....3!!! HE GOT HIM! "The Final Countdown" hits. Wow... what a match! Oh my God! They are actually shaking hands. Deliirous might have brought out the respect to Danielson. Danielson has a little honor in him, deep down. ***1/4 Overall Rating: 77%
