But they made the best of those minutes. Fast paced action all the way. They exchanged a lot of kicks. But in the end, it was the Step Up Enziguri that got Punk the victory. ****1/4 ROH World Title Three-Way Match Alex Shelley vs. Toshiaki Kawada vs. Bryan Danielson (c) II Jim Cornette is there to see all the action, in the corner of Alex Shelley. EVERYONE in the crowd stands up when they hear the opening bell. This is truly a sight to see. Kawada and Danielson both go after Shelley and hit him with a double closeline. Shelley runs out of the ring to recover as Kawada and Danielson exchange chops and kicks. The crowd is pleased with the action so far. Cornette helps Shelley some. Danielson comes from behind with a dropkick to Kawada's head. Goes for the Cattle Mutilation. But before he gets it on Kawada. Kawada rolls him up! 1.......2....... Danielson BARELY gets a shoulder. Woah! How close was that!!!?? But Danielson keeps the Cattle Mutilation position synched in, but can't get him turned over for it, Kawada fights with elbows to the temple of Danielson. Shelley comes out of nowhere with a diving knee from from the top, breaking up the submission attempt, but crushing Danielson's skull in the process. Cover on Danielson. 1.......2....... Cover on Kawada. 1......2...... Kawada kicks out. Shelley locks in the Border City Stretch! Danielson is knocked out cold from the knee drop. He has no clue this is going on. Kawada is about to tap. The crowd is on the edge of their seat! They chant, "Don't tap out! Don't tap out! Don't tap out!"! Kawada is inches away within tapping. But he makes it to the ropes. Phew.... scary moment for the champ, Bryan Danielson. Danielson is still knocked out. Shelley pulls Kawada back into the middle of the ring. Locks in the Border City Stretch! Oh MY!!! This could be the end of Bryan Danielson's title reign! Cornette looks happy. Danielson is STILL out. He cannot break up this submission. He doesn't even know about it. The ref thinks he is seeing Kawada tap out. But Kawada tells him he isn't. The match is still going. He's been in this submission for a while now. He doesn't want to give up. The crowd is scared. But there's a lot of Shelley supporters out there too, who are anxious to see is Kawada will indeed tap. Danielson starts to revive. Thank goodness! Danielson breaks it up. He hits a Tiger Suplex on Alex Shelley. 1....... 2....... Shelley kicks out. From this position... he goes into the Cattle Mutilation. Jim Cornette is there to distract the ref. Alex Shelley taps AGAIN! But the ref is busy with Cornette. Danielson is sick and tired of this. He stops everything he's doing to go outside the ring. He forearms Cornette... and locks him in the Cattle Mutilation!!! Shelley is too hurt to do anything about it. Cornette has to be carried out of the arena. No help for Shelley now. He has to do it all on his own. But before Cornette left... he left Shelley some brassknucks hidden in the turnbuckle. He did make an impact before he left. Shelley picks up the brassknucks and swings at Danielson, Danielson ducks! Cattle Mutilation! The brassknucks went out into the crowd. Now he has zero help and he's about to tap. But Kawada starts to recover and he's on the top rope, double stomp to Danielson's chest! Cover on Danielson. 1.......2......... kickout! Kawada locks in a painful looking Boston Crab. Danielson is inches within tapping. But he gets to the ropes. Shelley comes from behind Kawada and hits him with a reverse DDT. Shelley locks the Border City Stretch BACK IN! There is no doubt that he is about to win the ROH World Title. The crowd is split in half. Half want Shelley to win. The other half don't. This is very interesting. Kawada taps out! But wait... the ref noticed that Kawada's foot was on the bottom rope at the same time he tapped out. The match is still on! Danielson comes from behind Alex Shelley and blasts him with the roaring elbow, Cattle Mutilation time! Alex Shelley is fighting to get out of this or find some way to hang on. Kawada is hurt in the corner. Shelley is about to tap out.... but what Danielson turns it into a rollup. 1......2...... Shelley kicks out. Danielson goes back into the Cattle Mutilation! Shelley taps out!!! He has retained the title. *"The Final Countdown plays."* The crowd erupts in respect to these hard working wrestlers. Respect well earned. **** Overall Show Rating: 66%The whole show was typed out by me. 0% copy and pasting.

Ring of Honor Show #11BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs vs. The Briscoe Bros. This was a very good contest. It went back and forth throughout the whole match. But in the end, it was Jay Briscoe who hit the Jay-Driller on BJ Whitmer for the victory. **** Nigel McGuinness, Kevin Steen, and Alex Shelley vs. Jay Lethal, Jimmy Yang, and Yoshihiro Tajiri Jimmy Yang and Kevin Steen start off this matchup. Lots of ground based moves from Kevin Steen to keep the high flying based Jimmy Yang grounded. Steen drains all the energy from Yang. Yang has to make the tag out to a very fresh Jay Lethal. Lethal comes fired up with a bunch of closeline, then hits him with a leg lariat. Steen quickly tags out to McGuinness. McGuinness head stands on the turnbuckle only to be dropkicked by Lethal, Shelley quickly tags Nigel's leg. Shelley comes in from nowhere, school boy! 1.....2.... Lethal kicks out. Tag to Yoshihiro Tajiri. Tajiri lays in some vicious kicks to the thigh of Alex Shelley. He quickly tags in Jimmy Yang. Shelley crawls to tag in Steen. But what's this... Steen had some brassknucks hidden in his singlet. Looks like "Mr. Wrestling" isn't doing much wrestling and blasts Yang with them. 1....2.....3. Ref didn't see it. And McGuinness, Steen, and Shelley win it. ***1/2 All of a sudden... "Final Countdown" by Europe hits. "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring. He's carrying the ROH World Title with him. When he gets in the ring... he asks for the microphone. Danielson clears his throat. Danielson: Okay... this title is MINE. I've had this title since August 1st. It's now November 7th. I've made four title defenses. But... that doesn't stop me from defending the title again. It's not about feuds this Sunday. It's about honor. It's about competing for Eddie Guerrero. Bryan Danielson will take on... Yoshihiro Tajiri... this Sunday at A Night of Tribute. It's all about honor. Hey... I might be the heel, but in my mind... we're all good guys on that night. *The crowd cheers.* And it isn't going to stop me from making Yoshihiro Tajiri tap out to the Cattle Mutilation. I have all the respect in the world for him. But if I can beat Kawada... I can beat him. There's no doubt about that. *Back in character* But... let's get on to next week... after A Night of Tribute. You know? There's a bunch of punks who think they are good down there in Developmental Territory. Well... in my mind... they will never beat me. If they're not good enough to be here right now, they shouldn't step into the ring at all. There's guys down there who couldn't get over if they're life depended on it. There's guys down there thats last names sounds like a freakin' dish detergent, Moxley... are you kidding me? Psssshhh... he'll never be on my level. But next week... I challenge any of you ham and eggers to a non-title match. If you have the guts, you'll show up. After I beat you, I'll send you right back to where you belong. *Danielson throws the microphone down and his music hits.*" Jimmy Rave vs. Ultimo Dragon Rave starts off the match slow with a few headlocks. Dragon hits a reverse DDT out of nowhere. Cover. 1.....2..... Rave kicks out. Dragon locks in the Dragon Sleeper. There's nowhere for Rave to go. He taps out! But what's this... Alex Shelley comes from behind and attacks Ultimo Dragon! Border City Stretch! Ultimo taps out! But Shelley isn't releasing the hold. Damage has been done to Ultimo Dragon! Looks like these two will meet at A Night of Tribute. But ... it will be all about respect and honor. They can continue their hatred after that show. *** Colt Cabana vs. Bryan Danielson in a Non-Title Match This match was great throughout the whole thing. It started a series of small packages. "Mr. Small Package" almost got the three on one of the exchanges. Danielson scoop slams Cabana. He then gets him in the surfboard stretch position. He has it, surfboard stretch. Cabana could be moments away from tapping. Danielson lets go. Danielson picks up Cabana. He has him up for a suplex. Cabana falls out of the suplex. Colt 45! 1.........2......... Danielson kicks out. Cabana is locking in a full nelson, he has it half applied. But what's this! What?!!! Danielson flips out of it... and turns it into a Cattle Mutilation! Cabana is trying to hang on. Cabana taps. Danielson his holding up the ROH World Title like he just defended it. ****1/2 Overall Show Rating: 80%

A Night of TributePre-Show Match - Jonny Storm vs. Jay Lethal Storm and Lethal showed some great chain wrestling throughout the match. But in the end, it was the Rewind that got Storm the victory. **** *A graphic is shown on the screen, Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005. The crowd erupts in a thank you, Eddie chant. The graphic will stay there throughout the night.* Jimmy Rave and Kevin Steen vs. The Briscoe Bros. The match started off with Kevin Steen and Jay Briscoe. Briscoe lights Steen up with some kicks. Then covers him. 1..2.. Steen kicks out. He makes the tag to Jimmy Rave. Rave comes charging, but gets back body dropped. Tag was made out to Mark. Mark hits a Fisherman Buster. Cover! 1......2....... Steen breaks it up. That would have been it for sure. Rave was done. Mark tags Jay back in. Jay goes for a cross body, but the momentum pushes Rave on top. 1.....2...... kickout. Rave goes for it... Greeting From Ghana! 1......2.......3. *Embassy's theme hits* Could Kevin Steen be the new member of the Embassy. They worked great together tonight. On a night... where the crowd didn't throw toilet paper in the ring out of respect for Eddie Guerrero, this is truly a great moment! ****1/4 Katsuyori Shibata vs. Milano Collection AT What a great match they had! Shibata and Collection started off with a lot of speedy wrestling. It quickly turned into different variations of roll-ups. Shibata went for a crescent kick, but Collection caught his foot. Enziguri! 1.....2..... Shibata gets a shoulder up. Milano picks him up and goes for a reverse DDT, but Shibata counters it into a bulldog. Cover. 1.....2.... Milano kicked out. Two minutes left in the match. Milano goes up for a huge crossbody at a minute left. 1.....2..... Shibata kicks out. Forty seconds left. Shibata gets a quick small package. 1.....2..... Milano kicks out. Thirty seconds left. Shibata sets him up for a running knee, Milano moves! Schoolboy! 10 seconds left. 1...2... WHAT! Six seconds left and Shibata turned it into another rollup. 1.....2.... Milano kicked out. Time limit draw! These two let it all go out. **3/4 CM Punk vs. Colt Cabana This match has a great backstory. These two are the best of friends in the wrestling industry. Punk was very close with Eddie Guerrero. So this match was very emotional for him. Lots of chain wrestling was showcased in. Cabana did his trademark roll-up pins that got the crowd to their feet. Punk locked in the Anaconda Vice. The crowd thought he had him, but Cabana got to the ropes somehow. Cabana picked up Punk like he was going to powerbomb him, but instead... put him on his shoulders! Colt 45! Cover!! 1......2.......3! Colt Cabana picks up a victory a CM Punk. Eddie Guerrero didn't win every match, but the main thing was... he put on a hell of a show... and that's exactly what CM Punk did. Cabana and Punk look at each in a sign of respect and leave the ring. ****1/2 ROH Pure Title Match Roderick Strong vs. Nigel McGuinness (c) This was a very short five minute match. The crowd was too exhausted from Punk/Cabana to pay attention, which really hurt the quality a lot. That's very unfortunate for these two. McGuinness retained the title after the Guvner's Crumpet. ***1/4 Dream Match Alex Shelley vs. Ultimo Dragon These two respected Eddie Guerrero to no end. Alex Shelley even went on to say before that Guerrero was the best thing going last year. And Dragon speaks for himself, they had a lot of great matches together. The two did about a 10 minute match, expecting more from these two. But they still did good, no doubt about that. Dragon went for the Dragon Sleeper, but Shelley got out of it, locking in the Border City Stretch for the victory. *** Masahiro Chono vs. Toshiaki Kawada Chono was flown in for his first ROH match. Hopefully it's not his last ROH match. The fans would love to see more of him. Chono and Kawada did the basic puro match. Lots of kicks and strikes, very stiff match. The crowd was eating it up. But in the end, it was Kawada who locked in the Stretch Plum to make Chono tap out. *** ROH World Title Match Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Bryan Danielson (c) The match started off kind of slow, with Danielson locking a headlock. But Tajiri starts kicking Danielson in the gut. Danielson quickly lets go. Then Tajiri locks in a hammerlock, then twists and arm wrenches the arm, Danielson flips over. Danielson is now on the ground and is at the mercy of Yoshihiro Tajiri. Tajiri double stomps him from ground position. Cover. 1.....2...... Danielson gets a shoulder up. Danielson starts to recover and Tajiri dropkicks him to the add, sound echoes throughout the arena and the crowd goes wild. The crowd has been on the edge of the seat for the whole match. Tajiri goes up top for a diving knee drop, but Danielson moves. Danielson torques at the leg. Then locks in the figure four leglock. Tajiri is in trouble. He might not be able to use his feet for a couple minutes. That's definitely not good for him. Danielson knows what he's doing. That's why he's champ. Danielson quickly lets go. Then hits a spinning toe hold. Tajiri is in pain. But he gets to the ropes. They both get up and Tajiri hits an open palm strike to the side of the champ's head, dazing him for the moment. Tajiri then hits a leg sweep, sweeping Danielson off his feet, with hurt legs. Makes a cover. 1....2..... Danielson kicks out. Tajiri lets his leg rest for 30 seconds while Danielson recovers. Then Tajiri locks in an armbar. Danielson is in trouble This could be a match ending submission. But what's this... Danielson forces it into a pin. 1....2.... Tajiri gets Danielson back in the armbar. Danielson gets his foot on the ropes. Tajiri has to let go. Ref counts. Tajiri says, "I have 'till five!" The crowd gets a good laugh out of it. Tajiri mocked Danielson. Dragon can't be happy. Tajiri picks him up, going for a DDT, no! Danielson counters, swinging neckbreaker. Both men are down. Danielson recovers first. Tajiri gets up. Danielson hits the Three Amigos. The crowd stands up in respect. Then Danielson turns Tajiri onto his stomach, getting ready for the Cattle Mutilation. Danielson says, "Nu uh..." He ascends the ropes. Frog Splash! Cover. *The crowd counts along with the referee.* 1.........2...........3!!! *"The Final Countdown" plays.* The crowd is enthusiastic now and this isn't even the main event. Bryan Danielson celebrates with his World Title still intact. The crowd is loving every second of it. This was the ultimate respect to Eddie Guerrero. ****1/2 A Guerrero Competes in Honor of the Guerrero Family Jimmy Yang vs. Mando Guerrero Basically a very short match, with just one point... to compete for the honor of the Guerrero family. And the crowd loved it. They totally went crazy when Mando Guerrero made his entrance. Jimmy Yang was very respectful stepping into the ring with him. You could tell this match was all about honor. Mando locked in the Gory Special to pick up the win and the respect from all the ROH fans. And respect from his opponent, Jimmy Yang. They shook hands and preceded to look at the picture graphic on the screen that's been there all night. *Thank you Eddie *clap clap clap clap clap**Thank you Eddie!* The crowd is feeling great. As is Mando. Goodnight everyone from A Night of Tribute. *** Overall Show Rating: 68%

I like the idea of another tribute show, but who is Mando Guererro? Otherwise the show was very good, besides Strong/Nigel going 5 minutes. That's a little too short for my liking.
