Here is what I proposed about a week ago...
Warmfelt pleasantries to you all at this very moment. If I may be so bold, I believe that that a Comic Discussion Board is in due order. I realize that it is a niche entertainment field, but there are many reasons why I believe it would be successful.
Firstly, this board would contain all areas of comic discussion; be it movies, animated series on television, comic books, et al. Also, I think I speak for a lot of us comic book fans when I say that the lack of a proper discussion area in our community forces us to drift to other forums (i.e., Comic Book Resources). If there were a proper discussion area, I wholeheartedly believe that members would post more often as now they would have a more complete experience, and would not feel the need to go elsewhere. Additionally, I believe that the board would do well as a board by itself because of the wide variety of discussion that would take place (i.e., comic-based movies, animated series, etc.; which are popular enough to warrant an entire website/forum dedicated to the issue: SuperHeroHype.com). Though, if you'd like, I feel it would also function as a sub-board in either the "Other Figures..." or "Entertainment" board. However, I do feel that it would prosper most efficiently as a independent board under either the "General" or "Other Figures..." categories. Furthermore, after observing threads and the like, I believe that cosmicspidey, Crimson Mask, or Double J would make appropriate moderators.
I am sure if you decided to bestow upon us this board, that it would make a lot of people happy, and forum-wise, it would most definitely benefit the community.
If the response is great enough, I will send your support as well as a follow-up response to my post to Jay's attention.
