SEH, is this a brand new game? I remember you said you had Klein and Ki feuding over the belt, but I guess that ended before you started this? And you should really try to get Ki in more, if possible.

Well, this is my favorite diary going right now, and will basically be my TEW fix until I figure out what the kind off diary I am gonna do. Cannon and Hero is a perfect main-event feud. Airborne and Saints make a perfect tag title feud. Everything is just great.

I'll tell you the one thing that I don't like about this diary. I like the Airborne chasing the Saints. It really gives the Saints a chance to do their best work, avoiding the challenges of the young brother team.
Other than that, this is very solid.

No deathmatches saddens me. With no deathmatches, the 40 bloodmarks wouldn't show up to Plainfield, ridding of all attendance, but 285 still manage to show up.

Yeah, did you bother reading the part about advertising? Also, I still think those fans would show up, as they are not solely "blood marks", but are IWA fans.

Friday February 9th, 2006 Midlothian, IL Don Preston Recreational Center 14500 Kostner Ave.
IWA Mid South Presents IWA...CHIKARA...ARE YOU SERIOUS!?
A HUGE match has been signed, pitting IWA:MS against CHIKARA. Milano Collection AT will be making his return to IWA:MS, only this time, he will be representing CHIKARA. On IWA's side, the one and only Matt Sydal. This one is going to be huge, and will no doubt tear the house down.
IWA:MS vs. CHIKARA Matt Sydal vs. Milano Collection AT
At the last show, The Irish Airborne issued an open challenge to any team in CHIKARA to try and come take their IWA:MS tag straps. The Kings Of Wrestling tried to get the contract, but Dark Breed was the first team to get to it. Therefore, those two teams will clash in Midlo...
IWA:MS Tag-Team Championships - IWA:MS vs. CHIKARA The Irish Airborne vs. Dark Breed
Also on the card will be a CHIKARA showcase which will feature strictly CHIKARA talent. The following has already been announced for CHIKARA's half.
Jigsaw vs. Crossbones
Larry Sweeney vs. Rorschach
And last, but not least, on IWA:MS' side of the card, you will see the following...
Arik Cannon and Tyler Black have to come an agreement to have a friendly match with eachother, as preparation for their upcoming match with The Kings Of Wrestling. This one should be off the charts...
Friendly Exhibition Arik Cannon vs. Tyler Black
Also on the IWA card...
Delirious vs. Marek Brave
Chuck Taylor vs. Trik Davis vs. Ricochet vs. Josh Abercrombie
Plus more with Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Sal Thomaselli, Vito Thomaselli, Lance Steel, Lance Steel II, Cheech, Cloudy, Brandon Thomaselli, and Retail Dragon.

Good show and I love the way you incorporated Claudio and Black into the main event angle. Sydal/Milano should be a classic. Lots of announcened talent to play with as well.

I never read Indy diaries unless it's ROH because I know hardly anything about the indies. But I decided to read this diary, and I must say I made a good choice. A lot of people I don't know (Larry Sweeney, Jigsaw etc.) but now I do. Great diary, loving it so far.

Who are you using for the Dark Breed? The UltraMantis/Wicked version isn't around right now as they are actually feuding, so are you using UMB/Hydra? Or just still going with UMB/Wicked?

The KOW said it didnt matter though, and that they were putting out an open challenge to any team on the CHIKARA roster. Shortly after, Lancelot made their way out.

Cannon also said Black would be the first one to get a title shot when all this Hero BS was over with. That brought out Hero and Castagnoli, who ran in with steel chairs and just beat the living hell out of Black and Cannon.
Before The Match The Iron Saints came out and challenged Cheech and Cloudy to a match, saying they have seen some of their work elsewhere, and that they werent impressed.
Up In Smoke vs. The Iron Saints Up In Smoke defeated The Iron Saints in 10:40 when Cheech defeated Salvatore Thomaselli by pinfall with a Swanton Elbow Drop.

After The Match While AT and Sydal shook hands, Hero and Castagnoli came out to the ring. Hero got on the mic, and blasted IWA, saying that the main event proves that the CHIKARA talent is leagues better than the IWA talent. This brought out the rest of the IWA guys, and the CHIKARA guys, who proceeded to beatdown Hero and Castagnoli. Cannon and Black then ran out, and everyone set up Hero so Cannon could hit the Glimmering Warlock, and they then fed Castagnoli to Black, so he could hit the Gods last Gift. Ian Rotten then got on the mic and thanked everyone for showing, which got loud "IWA/CHIKARA!" chants.

Loved the ending. Sounds like the ending of ONS1, when everyone beat up Bischoff and the crusaders let them eventually. Good to see if Punk/Castagnoli come back. Probably not, either way, great show.
