granted not much of you seem to read batman, i'm sure you can agree on the common fact that Matt Wagner is the worst cover artist of all time. For example, honestly, I've had to deal with like 6 months of this garbage. Thankfully his final issude (for now) is this months and i will never have to see his garbage again. BUt man, does this guy suck, i mean really look at it, pure garbage. Also on a sad note, my favorite artist Jae Lee has signed a 3 year deal with Marvel, and next month's Batman: Jekyll and Hyde will be his last issue for DC for the next three years. Anyways this has been one of the best comics of the year, because i am personally a big Batman fan and a Big Two-Face fan and so combine that with one of the best artist, you get a great comic. The comic focuses on Two-Face struggling to gain control of his more evil half which seems to be taking over. Anyone else reading?

I see nothing wrong with that Batman/Superman cover. In fact, I quite like it. I really like the coloring...is that watercolor?
And I hate Jae Lee. I hope they don't stick him on anything I read. His UFF arc was bad.

speaking of the gwen/mj argument, i recently re-read paul jenkins' fantastic "death in the family" arc from peter parker: spider-man a few years back. always been one of, if not my single favorite spidey arc, ever. the quinisential climax of the spider-man/green goblin "feud." anyone else read this? if not, buy the TPB
i stopped reading comics about 2 years ago, and just reading the synopsis' of the recent gwen arc makes me ill. oy.

I say good riddance. yeah and then they released the variant cover which i unwillingly bought just because i wante dto have both prints. It wouldnt be soo bad if he only did like 3 months or something, but his style is unique in a way that no one else does it because it looks like crap. I dont know if he was tryign for the animated batman look or what, but i am so glad he is doen as the covers when he is done look a million times better, but then again so would just a blank cover.

I hope there will be a few issues of All Star because i really enjoyed the first one Well i just found out it is going to be continuous. As of now Lee/miller are on for the first 6 issues, but miller would like to go as long as possible. Th ereson for the month delay is for jim lee to get ahead in his art as I guess he has trouble making deadlines as he puts a lot of effort into his work, not to say that those who do make deadlines easily dont, but Jim Lee is the best so he can take as long as he wants.

I noticed something that all X-Men AoA Fans should think about... What happened to Captian America, he was said to still be forzen because every one was paying attention to Apocalypse, but X-Men Issue #9 has Captian America in it thus proving that Captian America & and the avengers had formed before Apocalypse had first appeared(which was in an X-Factor comic), so really that was a major screw up by Marvel 'cause The Avengers should have been around and there wasn't even mention of them. ;D (God, I feel like a geek right now)

X-Men Chronicles #1, where Apocalypse makes his first move toward overtaking North America, is said to be at the same time as Uncanny X-Men #1 in 616. He rose early enough that Tony Stark never built a suit of armor, Bruce Banner was never exposed to gamma rays, Donald Blake never realized he was Thor, and Sue Storm and Ben Grimm never went into outer space. All of those events occured before Avengers #4 (in 616) where Captain America was discovered, so if Apocalypse started his reign before those events could occur, he would have also caused Captain America to never be found (and Namor's dead in AOA anyway).

Bah! Grrr! Speaking of AOA what did everyone think of the revisit to the AOA? I thought it sucked, alot. The story was subpar, the art was a mess and it had lots of continuity holes. It just didn't feel like the AOA, it could of been an ever day X-Men story.

Akira Yoshida should not have written the AOA annivesary story. They should have gotten, oh, I don't know...SOMEONE WHO KNEW A DAMN THING ABOUT THE AOA!! I didn't mind the art, but the writing was bad, and it was obvious the writer didn't know the universe at all. They should have had Fabian Nicienza do it. He rocks.
