I wish I came across a Dark Phoenix variant...  But the only one I'm on the hunt for is the brown pants Cable. I HATE the regular version and if I dont find the variant, I just wont have it. I admit, the brwon pants version is really cool, and looks good on display, but i will also buy the blue and yellow pants version Eventually. When I realized that was a Dark Phoenix i passed up on, i raced back to the mall, but.....No Dice, it was gone. I remember so vividly that I was going to buy it Just because i need a phoenix and i know shes short packed, then I found out how Rare dark phoenix is, and I could have had her for 11 Canadian Dollars dammit! LoL ah well. |

Not to mention I think you Canadians have a variant poster book instead of the comic, which makes it more sought after.
Oh well. I found Red Skull THREE times during my hunting adventures so maybe she'll turn up again. Least I was able to find the regular version, since I know some people cant even find THAT one. Better than nothing.
BTW-on a side note-I just realized the comic Hawkeye comes with stars TWO now deceased Avengers (Hawkeye and Ant-Man). Man, that's some great precognitive packaging!

I said EBAY whores because an employee told me they always have a couple of guys there as they open who run to the sportspicks and the marvel legends and snatch up any varients or rares. I did find the Vision in the next aisle on the top shelf, so maybe they were hiding it for later. If I would have gotten there as they opened, I could have gotten the Hawkeye, oh well, I'm still looking.

Finally! After 6 long months of series 6 being out, and over a year without finding a single new ML fig in my town, I FOUND SOME! Sure, they were just ML6's Punisher, Wolverine, and Cable, but it's better than nothing. Never thought I'd be happy shopping at Wal-Mart.
Then I went to Shopko, and saw ML7!!! Well, Weapon X and Iron Man, at least. Both had crappy painting, and I'm planning on buying a case, so I passed.

Hey guys, I don't know if this has been posted before, but I just figured that being Marvel Legends fans you might enjoy seeing this: cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36556&item=5940172810&rd=1 The link is to a prototype of the Series 8 Ultimate Cap. The head looks a bit different than the reg version I've seen. . . . could this be the sculpt of the Cap variant? Again, sorry if this has been posted previously. . . . . The variant is being called "Chinstrap" Captain America, and it looks like this might have one. It doesn't appear to have wings on the side of the head, though, which I think it's supposed to have. I think the things on the top are just the tubing that's on the Ultimate Cap cowl. The expression doesn't seem quite so evil, but that could just be because there's no paint. I found myself skipping a few pages to get to the best part of the book, the Ant man arrow. This coming from a guy who loves the Masterworks books which does nothing but reprint 60's and 70's stuff with alot tending to be crap. |

Well, i saw like 10 hawkeye's at a total of three stores, (bought one for me) but absolutely no vision in sight (get it?) So if anyone wants to trade a hawkeye for a vision hit me up with an IM or a PM

So far the only place to have series 7 here is Jumbo Video and they are getting the US sale versions. I grabbed Apocalypse last night and will probably get Hawkeye tonight. On a side note, on Apocalypse does anyone know what the hole on the upper part of each arm is for? They look big enough for something to fit in there but I saw nothing in the package other than the fig and the base. |

Im pretty sure my comic book store has been getting all the US versions then LOL but walmart and zellers in canada get the international versions. Wierd.
