I finally found the Fantastic Four box set at Wal-Mart today, and I was very excited. I looked at my figures, because I was about to open it, and I noticed that Reed Richards didn't have a 4 on his chest. I thought it was odd, so I looked at pics online, and I couldn't find any pics of it without the 4 on his chest. Personally, this sucks, because I want the damn 4 on there. But I guess I can sell this one for some moolah, because people will buy variants and paint errors. Oh well, back to Wal-mart tomorrow to buy one with the 4 logo. Here are a couple of pics.

It's probably rare. Put it on E-bay, and make some money.

Are you going to open them when you get the one you want?

Are you going to open them when you get the one you want? Of course. I open virtually all of my figs.

I have come to the conclusion that I need the variant FF boxset. The variant Torch and IW are very cool, and my Mr. Fantastic was a little messed up. Plus, I need an extra Doom cape for a Taskmaster custom. God, why must Toy Biz take all my money?!

My brother is going to pop into a local comic shop tommorow to see if they have any ML for me then on Thursday after hospital I'm popping down to another comic shop... *sigh* If I get £10 I think I may order Colossus. ML6 are the hot thing but in a few weeks prices will lowers etc. so I'll wait and get some of the older ones first before they become impossible to find.

I picked up a NON error Fantastic Four set.
Oddly, at a Wal-Mart today, I found an Archangel figure in the clearance section with several savage hulks, joe fixit, and X-Men CLassics Wolverine. They were all $5. I already have Archangel, but I got it in case someone I know needed it.
Unfortunately, I still can't find Deadpool or the SInister Six pack.

I went to TRU today and I finally found ML VI. I have been looking for them for ever. I ended up getting Cable & Dead Pool. These are my first ML figures that I have bought. Can someone give me a list of X-men figures that ML have made? Thanks in advance.

I got my S6 set yesterday. Man...this is one sweet set! Has to be the best box set they've made so far! I like the personalized bases. here's my quick rundown from least fav to fav: Doc Ock - piece of crap...just like the old SMC. I haven't even taken him out of the box yet. Kraven - I was perfectly happey with the other(actually prefer the color scheme of the other). He;s not bad, I do like the new head and they added lateral ankle movement to him. Black cat - Really not a bad looking figure. Having sue and Jean though, I realize how bad the Elektra hips suck. her hair hinders movement though. SPider man - he would be reanked a bit higher, but hil flippin leg broke off. I was being soooo careful too. Overall I think this is the top version of Spidey though. I love the "webbing" on him. Nice color too. Venom - quite possibly the biggerst surprise of the set. Sabertooth mold works really really good for him...better than I thouht it would. Sure we still got the elbow spikes, but that's really minor IMO. Gobby - a damn fine figure. I know a lot of people aren't crazy about him, but I think he looks fantastic. At first I thought mine was missing the bombs and bag though :-D My only complaint is it is hard for him to hold his bombs. Electro - Steals the set IMO. A top notch figure. Just goes to show that Tb can do some great characters using the same mold with some minor tweaks. I love this figure...and I found a great accessory for him. Electro wouldn't be complete without his very own........LIGHTNING!!!!: Overall a great buy. None of my figures had horrible paint apps either. Aside from spidey I had no problems with my set.

You know Brad, I've been seriously debating that Sin 6 set, considering it's like 50 bucks at TRU, and the QC has been moderate at best. The three I've seen at TRU, all had flaws. Biggest being Goblin having two left hands in one of them. Electro looks great though.

Dammit, i want the S6 set!
On a side note, my Reed Richards from my F4 box set is like abobble head doll. His head is so loose, it barely holds itself up. And his hand joint is screwed, so it won't close. Also, his other joints are really loose as well. On top of the one I bought missing his 4 logo, this is just great.

Electro looks great though. well, if I had any self control or patience, I would wait till it went on clearance myself(seeing as how cheap the first 2 are now), but a box of villains...I'm not sure if places will have trouble selling these. The 2 TRUs I've seen these at have sold out within a week. Granted they are still new...but I never saw the X or UL sets sell like that. It really is a fantastic set. Aside from spidey I had no problems. I just gotta wait till they get more sets in so I can exchange.

Damn, that Doc's not even in the correct scale! The rest of the set more than makes up for it, though. Venom, Goblin, and Electro are three characters that have never been made that good, and I like the darker blue on the Snapshot Spidey mold. Kraven and Black Cat are cool, but not great. ML8 Doc blows that one out of the water.
BTW, I found Snapshot Spidey and Ultimate Lizard at TRU today. I still can't decide if I like Snapshot or SMC1 Spider-Man better.
