Todd Gordon is undoubtedly the biggest name in Philedelphia wrestling. This despite the fact that he has never wrestled, or had a consistant on-screen role.
Todd Gordon's first venture into wrestling was as a sponsor for a radio show for wrestling. He was then convinced by the producer of the show, Joel Goodhart, to invest in his soon-to-be wrestling promotion.
Eventually, The TWA, as it came to be called, went out of business, and Gordon wrote off his losses as a learning experience.
Gordon then opened up his first wrestling promotion, Eastern Championship Wrestling. Featuring building wide-brawls, it soon became popular among the philly faithful.
Eventually, it evolved into NWA: Eastern Championship Wrestling, then soon after, into Extreme Championship Wrestling, after top draw Shane Douglas threw the NWA World Title Belt to the floor.
Over the years, Todd continued to have an active role in the day-to-day affairs of ECW, and still owned it. However, years later, a rumour circulated that a mole was around. It was uncovered to be Todd Gordon himself, trying to set up a move to send ECW Wrestlers to arch-rivals, WCW.
After this, Heyman bought up Gordon's share of the company, and Gordon was never featured in ECW again. ECW later went out of buisness.
Gordon has since been plying his time, waiting for a fall in wrestling popularity, much like the one that kick started the revolutionary ECW. He has since found it...
