I am VERY heavily involved in the Marvel Universe. ESPECIALLY the X-Men universe. I have damn near every issue of Wolverine, and a lot of the graphic novels. Recently I've started reading some Hulk stuff. And the Justice League is starting to capture my interest as well. I'm open to anything. As a matter of fact. If anyone ever just wants to PM me with some suggestions, I'm up for it. I've recently gotten back into the comic scene and it's becoming my passion again.
Underneath my bed currently is roughly 300 comics and a few graphic novels in various storage bins. Most of which I know by heart.
Plus, own my fair share of Manga as well.

My comic reading has lately been catergorized. I don't normally watch the net for what's coming out, and usually just make do with a weekly trip to Newbury's to pick up whatever's near that I read...thus:
Books I Always Pick Up When There's A New Issue
- New Avengers - Ultimates 2 - Young Avengers - Astonishing X-Men
Unfortunately, when I got back into comics recently, alot of the stuff I started reading was a limited basis, with only one of them still being put out, and quickly approaching it's final issue, thus:
Books I read/have read, and are approaching finish/finished.
- Phoenix: Endsong - Great Lakes Avengers - House Of M
Lately, alot of new books have been starting out that have kinda sorta caught my eye, but I'm still not 100% I'll follow through with, as in the case of, say, NA or AXM, thus:
New Books I'm Giving A Fair Shot To
- Batman & Robin The Boy Wonder (DC Allstars) - The Sentry
And finally, my first re-introduction to comics was the Ultimate X-Men, which I originally intended to collect only in tpb to create a uniform look to my collection, but since they come out so slow, I'm slowly working on bridging the issues I don't have between "Most Dangerous Game" to present...

I haven't read anything since August, so I'm a bit behind. Though I have acquired a lot of series and issues in the downtime.

Oh, I forgot I'm reading GLCorps too. I like it, but the art isnt very good. I just like Gardner. I like that he is a total bunghole, and he knows it, but knows just as much that he'll do the job when it needs to be done.

The only one I ever got into was The Green Lantern, and I haven't picked up an issue since the fourth installment of the Rebirth series, I believe that's what it was called.
I tried to get into Punisher but just wasn't really feeling it.

I was a huge Punisher fan till the series turned max...Now I have no problem with swearing and crap like that but...it seems the only reason they turned this to a max title is just to say ! There is usually a gross panel or two but the rest is just . Pisses me off So I boycotted and quit getting it. that and i believe that the writer just does the same stuff over and over again.

I see that most of you have All Star Batman and Robin. Are you guys reading this primarily because you are... a) Batman fans b) Frank Miller Fans c) Jim Lee fans
just wondering what the primary draw is, because it seems to be the only batman title on some of your lists.

I am a Batman fan. I read most of his comics, so I figured I would give that a shot as well.

It's a good thing I didn't stick with that series then, seems like it would have been a waste of my money. Some of the MAX stories were pretty good and the swearing actually made it feel more visceral. It let goombas SOUND like goombas. But the stories just kept repeating, it left the MAX line and it went down the crapper. I was talking to my comic shop owner a few months after I stopped and we agree that Punisher should just be periodical mini series. His premise is good, but tough to stretch for such a long period as a series. You kill one goodfella, you killed them all.
