The other thread brought this up, so for the few people that don't know, this is a great reference for older Marvel figures from the 90's, up until now. www.marveltoys.net/index.php?v=1031

Yeah, I was just about to comment in there. I had damn near every single one of the 1991 and on X-Men toys. I still do I believe. Yesterday whilst cleaning my room. That Magneto with the magnet hands and chest fell on my foot. And I'm certain that giant barbell that came with some WCW Goldberg toy at one point.

Apoc was the best one! He had extendo body parts. I remember pinching my finger in his leg once and the thing hurt for about 4 hours.
Iceman was sweet because any toy that you put in the freezer or cold water and that made it change colors was greatness to a kid.
Gambits coat pissed me off.
Sabertooth having "claw scratch mark action" is something that would NOT be allowed on a childrens toy today. Apparently kids are pussies now.
Oh, and thank god I wasn't the only one who wore Wolverines mask as a ring.
I love that damn site KAM.

I actually had wrestling matches with mine. The X-Men were the dominant stable, Venom and Carnage were tag champs, and Thing was the champ. I even used the old Galoob WCW belts as titles.

Ahhh....Old timey marvel toys are ones you consider from 1995....Man, I feel really old now. Whereas I considered the stuff from 1976 to be old. My earliest years were playing with the Megos...And the cool stuff that came out from MANY other toy companies....Spiderman attached to a parachute etc. Anything that was in this catalog... cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/Superhero-Catalogue-4-VERY-UNUSUAL-Bronze-Era_W0QQitemZ6568644674QQcategoryZ12589QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Most of my old Marvel toys were Mego figures, and the Secret Wars set. I was older, and not collecting toys yet when the ones from the 90's were coming out.

I had a dream last night where i was at a flea market looking through some MOC x-men figures ('91). Those were some cool figures. I finally got the Nightcrawler, the one with suction cups, for Christmas one year because i was never able to find it.

I am glad that I am not the only one who had wrestling matches with my Marvel figures when I was little. I would tear off the suction cups on Spider-Man and Nightcrawler to have better playability in the ring. I had all of those series 1 and 2 X-Men toys I also had the whole line of these www.marveltoys.net/figures.php?figureline=93&v=1031 and all of series 2: www.marveltoys.net/figures.php?figureline=94&v=1031That website brings back some old memories. I also had the big playset that was for those Marvel figures but I can't find a picture of it.

That Wolverine pissed me off simply because of the curled claws. They were spring loaded, but you couldn't put them inside his hand

I also used my Marvel figures to wrestle, but i used them alomngside my Hasbro WWF figures. Juggernaut I. Weapon X Wolverine, Sinister, Forge and Gambit all were in the fed, along with a few Silverhawks and an American Gladiator. I actually broke the leg off of Forge and had him wreslte as an amputee.

I remember I had the Venom figure from the animated Spider-man toyline. He had a rubber head that you could remove and reveal Eddie Brock. I loved that figure, I took it everywhere. I may have to track down a moc or loose-complete one some day.
