When I used the term "old timey", I was half joking. I was too young for Megos, and by the time I was old enough, the line was pretty much dead. I was about 10 when these first came out 15 years ago, so it does seem like a long time ago.

I made a list of all the ones I had...took like an hour...had almost all of them til 96...then hit some random button that moved me back...ruining the post...  . |

The worst thing I ever did was bring some electronic marvel figures into the bath tub.... yeah, I used to play in the bath tub. I ruined my talking wolverine... and have been depressed ever since.

Speaking of which, anyone have this?  I remember it was recalled, because some parent's groups were offended by the "eat your brain" comment. |

Star Wars is actually what killed Mego. They were the first company offered the Star Wars license, and based on some drawings, they thought it would bomb. Whoops. So after Kenner made a ton of cash from SW, Mego started buying every license that came down the line, including Dallas, and CHIPS. |
