This is one of my favorite comics. One of the few comics I keep up reading month to month. I started reading when the Babylon 5 started writing. He has a great comics sense. He knows Spider-man, and of course, Peter Parker. He writes the best version of Spider-man. Other writers in other comics are lacking, in my opinion. Some of the arcs are mind blowing. We went from Happy Birthday to Book of Ezekial to Sins Past to Skin Deep to the current New Avengers storyline in a row, all seamless transitions. I think this is the more adult Spider-man book. More so than Ultimate or Peter Parker. Peter's humor is shaper and wittier. He deals with more adult issues. Sins Past just blew my mind. Awesome arc. It took what we knew in the and totally twisted it. I won't spoil it but if you haven't read it do yourself the favor. Kim

I came to love Amazing Spider-man because of the cover of issue #214. Fell in love with the Trapster then and still like him. My first issue however was issue #224. I wore that and subsequent issues out.
Can't WAIT until Marvel Essentials is able to work it's way up to those issues. I'd love to have them again.
