Backstory 30th Jan 2007 It is poker night at the McMahon house where a few road agents and the owner him self are playing a good old game of poker. The men involved are Vince McMahon, Bill Demot, Pat Paterson, Garold Briscoe, Dean Malenko, Paul Heyman and Christopher Nowinski. All seven men are having a good night having small bets till the bets seem to go higher with out any ones notice. Vince Mcmahon may have had one to many drinks because instead of betting more money which he obviously had, he instead decide to come out with " How about we make this game a bit interesting. The next game will be for ECW" Everyone else in the room gasps, especially Paul Heyman who thought he would never see the chance to have a go at owning ECW once again. Vince then goes on to say. " But if you get the losing hand then your fired." Everyone in the room gasps once again but maybe it's the drink going to their hands because they decide to play along. Vince has his hand with a pair of Queens, he is feeling good as he thinks he has won, he asks for who's playing this game and only Chris Nowinski and Paul Heyman go in. Heyman shows his hand with a pair of Jacks. He looks shell shocked as he realizes he has just lost his job with the WWE. Chris Nowinski shows his hand with a 2 pair of ace's and sevens. Chris Nowinski wins the hand, and apparently to the rules of the game, he has just won Extreme Championship Wrestling and all it's rights. Paul gives a look to Nowinski who sarcastically says. "Don't worry Paul, I will give you a job." Vince who doesn't even look mad simpily says, "Ah well, you lose some you win some. I lost ECW, but I lost Paul Heyman in the process." Heyman gives Vince a dirty look. Vince then says. " In the next game, lets say the winner gets..... WCW, if they lose, they are fired." everyone agree's and the cards are delt. Vince smiles but tries to hide it from the rest as he looks at the cards where he has just got three kings. he asks for whos in and only Malenko plays. Vince is surprised as Dean isn't one to risk his job over a card game. Vince shows his cards and Dean looks shocked then laughs as he shows his cards. Vince opens his mouth as he see's three queens and a pair of tens. Vince realizes he has just lost the rights to two major companies as he orders everyone to get out of the house.

Helms then done a roll up, pulling on the Nature Boys trunks to get the one two three. After the match Helms called for the shining wizard as he backed in to a corner to wait for flair to get back to his feet. Rey Mysterio quickly sprints down the ring to stop the attack but Greg leaves the ring and doesn’t try to start a fight with Mysterio. Match two
Sean Waltman vs Super Crazy vs Kid KashSuper Crazy wins with a moonsault on Kid Kash. The match was a high flying one with Waltman getting early control of the match with two big spin kicks to both Super Crazy and Kid Kash. Waltman went for early covers on both men but both kicked out in an early two count. Waltman went to the top rope but Kash was ready as he sprung up with him hittinh a Super Huricanrana of the top rope. Crazy then hits a standing moonsault on Sean to try and steal the victory from Kid Kash but Kash makes the save as he dives on top of Crazy. Waltman went to clothesline Super Crazy over the ropes but instead Waltman gets back body dropped over the ropes as Crazy begins to go on the offensive. Kenny Dykstra vs Ron KillingsFormer Spirit Squad member Kenny wins after hitting a low blow and then the Guillotine Leg Drop on Ron “The Truth” Killings. Killings who has the pro experience advantage to start the match of strong, it was a short match with Ron Killings whipping Kenny in to the corner then Killings going for a big shoulder thrust but Kenny moves out of the way sending Killings shoulder hard in to the metal post. Kenny then hits a low blow as the ref is seeing if Killings is ok. Killings falls down on the canvas where Kenny climbs the top rope then hitting the best leg drop in the business today, getting the three count. After the match Killings quickly tries to get some revenge but Dykstra dashes from the ring before anything can be dished out from Ron Killings.Match four – WCW Tag Team Titles
Southern Comfort vs Sean O’Haire & Mark Jindrak vs Ravens FlockThe team of Ravens flock consisted of CM Punk and Billy Kidman and today was their lucky day as they came out on top with the tag team titles. All six match brawled in the ring at the beginning till some order was brought in to the match. Chris Hamrick of Southern Comfort was taken out early in the match due to Mark Jindrak’s left hook bounces of his jaw. Tracy Smoothers done the whole match by himself but it didn’t help as he fell victim to a left hook of Mark Jindrak and a BK bomb from Billy Kidman. O’Haire was knocked of the apron by a double dropkick from Kidman & Punk then CM Punk hit Jindrak with a couple of hard knee shots followed by a inzaguri to the back of the head. Kidman climbs the top rope and hits the Shooting Star Press on Jindrak to get the three count. Both men celebrate with the tag titles before Raven shows up on the stage. Raven calls his men back as Chris Hamrick finally gains consciousness from the big left hook he received at the beginning of the match.Match five. Raven vs Chris SabinThe match was a well fought one which could of went either way, but due to the interference by Vampiro. Raven pulled out the victory. Sabin used his speed in the early going to try and get the advantage over Raven. It worked for a few minutes but Raven eventually hit a surprising dropkick to the knee of Chris Sabin as he was spring boarding of the ropes. Raven then went for the Raven Affect DDT but Sabin reversed in to a Northern Lights Suplex, Sabin went for the pin but only got a two count. Raven picks sabin up, hitting him with the raven affect for the three count. After the match all four members of ravens flock pose on the stage.Main Event – WCW World Heavyweight Title
Brock Lesnar vs Chris BenoitThe main event of the evening that was announced earlier in the week. The match went on for a good twenty-five minutes with out any cheating by neither man. In the end Chris Benoit won by a Crippler Crossface. The match began with Lesnar using his size advantage to trap Benoit in the corner. Lesnar starting throwing punches but Benoit managed to turn the tables as he then begin throwing chops driving them in to Brock Lesnar’s chest. Both men fought with neither man taking advantage of the match for long. In the break through Lesnar hit a massive powerbomb and then he went to the top rope, maybe to try a Shooting Star Press but he wasted to much time trying to keep his balance as Benoit manages to get to his feet and climb the turnbuckle with Lesnar. Benoit hits a superplex from the top rope as both men lay hurt on the canvas. Both men get up to their feet where Lesnar lifts Benoit on top of his shoulders as he attempts to hit the F-5 but on the way down, Benoit manages to turn the move in to the Crippler Crossface. Lesnar lasts the move for a good two minutes before finally tapping out to Benoit. Benoit celebrates with the belt and as Lesnar stands back on his feet, Benoit offers his hand to Lesnar. Lesnar just leaves the ring as Benoit then just ignores it and continues to celebrate with the title.
