The Rock and DX? Please tell me that's some sort of like fake kayfabe rumor.
Dammit, pressed Post too early.
This looks good, so I'll wait for the first show before I judge.

January 1st, 2007Show: WWE Monday Night Raw Location: American Airlines Arena Attendance: 15,169===========================
I want domination I want your submission I see you’re not resisting To this temptation I’ve got one confession A love deprivation I’ve got a jet black heart It’s all ed up and it’s falling apart Whoa I'll never give in Whoa I'll never give up Whoa I'll never give in And I just wanna be, wanna be loved Whoa I'll never give in Whoa I'll never give up Whoa I'll never give in And I just wanna be, wanna be loved
============================
The show starts with Rated RKO already in the ring. They cut a promo on DX being past it, and it is time to step aside and let Rated RKO have the limelight. Out of nowhere, The Rock's music hits! The Rock goes on about how he is in his hometown. He then says DX have been the one holding up the company since he has been gone. Vince McMahon then comes out and books The Rock vs Rated RKO in a handicap match later that night. JR and King then milk how much DX were injured, and they will not be in the building Tonight.
Match #1 Shad Gaspard w/JTG vs Charlie Haas w/ Shelton Benjamin Not the best of matches, to be honest. Charlie Haas carried Shad as far as the wrestling was concerned. Shad got some good pops when he gained advantage, but Haas got minimum heel heat. Haas finished the match with Shelton coming and hitting Shad with the T-Bone as the ref's back was turned. Shelton held JTG back as the ref counted to 3.
Backstage Maria interviews Johnny Nitro outside K-Fed's Locker Room. Nitro says Federline will show Cena how a real rapper does it.
Match #2 Kenny Dykstra vs Carlito w/ Torrie Wilson Great match to follow up the disappointing opener. The match was 10 minutes of high flying, high paced wrestling. The crowd were really into it, and were loud the whole way through. Surprisingly, Dykstra was put over clean with the 'Dykstra Drop', his version of the guillotine leg drop.
Match #3 Val Venis vs Lance Cade w/ Trevor Murdoch Slow match, the crowd wasn't really into it, although Cade hot a little bit of heat. The referee was knocked down, which gave M-Doch time to come in and assist Cade with the 'high-low' clothesline for the victory.
The Federline vs Cena match was hyped even more, as they showed a video trailer for the match, showing footage of the build up from the last few months.
Match #4 Jeff Hardy vs Eugene Squash. Jeff finished it in 2 minutes with the Swanton. After the match, Eugene is left in the middle of the ring crying. He then goes nuts, and starts breaking camera's, screaming into the mic, etc.
Match #5 Ric Flair vs Chris Masters Good match, the crowd was in it from start to finish. Flair put on a chop fest, as the crowd were "WOOO"ing every 5 seconds it seemed. Dykstra came to distract Flair, but Carlito came and beat on Dykstra. Flair then avoided the Masterlock, and hit Masters with a chop block which brought him to the ground. Flair puts on the Figure 4 as he gains the victory.
The Rock was shown backstage, preparing for his match, as JR and King say that his match is up next.
Match #6 The Rock vs Rated RKO The match was pure havoc right from the get go. Rated RKO dominated The Rock with consistent double team moves, as the ref was trying his best to get the illegal man out of the ring. When Rocky began to get momentum up against Randy Orton, Edge threw Lillian off her chair and brought it into the ring. The ref tried to get it off him, but Edge cracked the head of referee Jack Doan with the chair. Rated RKO then proceeded to give The Rock the 'conchairto.' No DX in sight. The crowd booed as the match ended in a no contest, and no appearance from DX.
Then another hype video was shown for K-Fed vs Cena. Before the match Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring and announced that there will be no outside interference from Umaga, Armando or Nitro, as they are banned from ringside. That got a huge reaction.
Match #7 Kevin Federline vs John Cena Match was a complete squash, as Cena won it in a matter on minutes. He could of ended it in a matter of seconds, but kept on adding more salt into the wounds of K-Fed. After Cena ended it, Umaga and Nitro came out and beat on Cena. The show ends with Umaga standing over Cena, holding the WWE Championship high.

Interesting move with the Rock facing Rated RKO, bad finish with the dq but it seemed the type of thing RKO would do. Good diary.

Looks like an interesting PPV here. Can't wait to see if there is any surprises in store. Also, nice RAW dude. I wasn't sure whether Rock vs. RRKO was a good idea but it seemed ok... Keep trying.
If you can, reply to my diary, please?

Holy crap at the most untriumphant return ever lol, poor Rock.
I'm liking that opening to the show, definately not something u typically see
Glad you didnt allow Cena to job to K-Fed.
Kinda wondering why no hype was put into the 3-way I.C. title match? Ah well, should be a helluva bout anyway.

Show: WWE New Year's Revolution Location: Kemper Arena Attendance: 17,462
===========================================
PRESENTS:
===========================================
The show starts with a 2 minute video promo, hyping the main matches tonight. Pyro's crackle around the arena as we are set to start New Year's Revolution infrount of a rochus crowd. After JR and The King welcome us, the show gets started!
Match #1 Cryme Tyme vs WGTT WGTT put on a terrific match, but Cryme Tyme was a little sloppy, and out of tune. Cryme Tyme did there usual routine on moves etc. When Shelton was the legal man he took advantage of JTG. The match ended with Charlie Haas distracting the referee and Shad as Shelton hits a low blow and rolls JTG up for 3.
Match #2 Carlito w/ Torrie Wilson vs Chris Masters Carlito and Torrie got a descent pop, while Masters got good heat. Masters dominated for the most part of the match, but Carlito got the upper hand, in traditional face fashion. The crowd got relay into it in the finish, where Carlito hit the back cracker to pick up the win.
Backstage, Todd Grisham interviewed Ric Flair. Flair stated on how Kenny is just a little punk, and he will show him what it takes to be the best.
Match #3 Jeff Hardy(c) vs Johnny Nitro w/Melina vs Val Venis Intercontinental Title Venis got on the mic before the match, and said it is about time he got some respect. This was somewhat a heel turn for Venis. The match got off to a slow start, but built up some good momentum. Good, well paced match, finishing with Venis low blowing Hardy, then Nitro hitting Venis with the belt, while the ref was attending Hardy. Nitro picks up the win, and is the new IC Champ!
A Royal Rumble promo is then shown. A promo hyping the Victoria vs Mickie James match is then shown.
Match #4 Victoria vs Mickie James (c) Womens Title Awesome match start to finish. Great wrestling clinic from two talented women. The crowd was popping for both women, appreciating a great wrestling match. Victoria hit the Widow's Peak and picks up the win. We have a new Women's Champ!
Another hype promo, this time for Rated RKO vs D-Generation X.
Match #5 Rated RKO (c) vs DX Tag Team Titles DX came out first and did there traditional routine. Crowd had DX glow sticks that they were waving around like crazy. DX got a huge reaction. Rated RKO got good heat the whole way through. Edge and Orton did the normal heel moves, DX takes the advantage in the latter part of the match. Michaels was put through the announce table, leaving Hunter to win the match on his own. Triple H got rid of Orton, and then got Edge in the Pedigree position, before he could hit it, out of nowhere Orton hit the RKO and picked up the win for Rated RKO.
Match #6 Kenny Dykstra vs Ric Flair Dykstra kept Flair moving, keeping the pace quicker than a usual Flair match. Crowd was really into it. Kenny looked really sound in the ring, as did Flair. This is by far the best wrestling match Flair has put on for years. Both men went back and forward the whole way through the match. Kenny hung Flair on the top rope and hit the Dykstra Drop for the victory.
The camera goes backstage, where Armando Estrada is shown lying in a bloody heap. Estrada is busted wide open, lying in a pool of his own blood. This means he will not be in Umaga's corner for the title match. Another video is played, showing the rivalry of Cena vs Umaga.
Match #7 John Cena (c) vs Umaga WWE Title Very, very loud pop for Cena. A match full of sloppy moves, but the crowd was into it big time, which is all that matters. Umaga dominated the match, but Cena heroically gained the advantage near the end. The match finished with Cena holding Umaga in the FU position. Umaga escapes and tries to hit the Samoan Spike. Cena evaded the spike and grabbed Umaga's arm. The then locks in the STFU for the victory. Cena retains, and holds the belt high as New Year's Revolution goes off the air.
Quick Results: WGTT def. Cryme Tyme Carlito def. Chris Masters Nitro def. Jeff Hardy and Val Venis Victoria def. Mickie James Rated RKO def. DX Kenny Dykstra def. Ric Flair John Cena def. Umaga

January 8th, 2007Show: WWE Monday Night Raw Location: St. Louis, MO Attendance: 14,871===========================
============================
The show starts with a video recap of New Year's Revolution. The video includes Cena and Rated RKO retaining there respective titles, and also Kenny Dykstra's surprise win over Flair. The show starts with John Cena's music hitting the arena. Cena comes to the ring, proudly showing off his WWE Title. Cena gets on the mic and talks about how hart it was to beat the Samoan Bulldozer. Suddenly the lights go out. The arena is pitch black.
The crowd goes nuts as pyro's shoot everywhere. Jericho does his pose and stands at the top of the ramp. Jericho challenges Cena to a match at the Royal Rumble, which he accepts.
Match #1 The Highlanders vs Cade & Murdoch Descent match to get Monday Night Raw started. The crowd was still in shock after Chris Jericho returned, but still enjoyed this match up. Highlanders pick up the win with the 'Scotch Drop.'
Vince McMahon is shown backstage talking to an unknown person on his cell phone. He says no one authorized Jericho to be here.
Match #2 Johnny Nitro vs Jim Duggan Somewhat of a squash match. During the match Kenny Dykstra came to ringside to watch that match. Nitro picked up the win with the Standing Shooting Star Press as Dykstra looked impressed and clapped as he made his way backstage.
DX was shown backstage making there way to the ring. They looked pissed, and they will be in the ring next.
DX Promo The usual routine as DX entered the ring. Trips took the mic first and talked on how Rated RKO not only left physical scars, they left mental scars. On the episode of Raw before Christmas, Rated RKO beat DX like no one else has. That's why DX need some backup. Shawn then got on the mic and said it is just a matter of time before the new DX member is announced. It could be next week, next month or even next year. But it will happen.
Match #4 Carlito & Torrie Wilson vs Chris Masters & Victoria The usual inter gender tag match. Masters and Victoria dominated before Mickie James distracted Victoria, allowing Torrie to hit the 'nose job' and pick up the 3 count.
Match #5 Kenny Dykstra vs Jeff Hardy Very high paced match with lots of high flying moves. Crowd were into it the whole way through. Hardy took the advantage until Dykstra hit Hardy with a low blow and rolled him up for the win. After the match Nitro came to the ring and Dykstra and Nitro stood face to face in a long stare-down.
Match #6 WGTT vs Gerrard Stevens & Mike Timms It was WGTT against two jobbers. Easy pinfall win for WGTT. Just a reason to show Shelton and Haas' dominance. Expect a Tag Title push for them very soon.
Match #7 John Cena vs Randy Orton w/Edge Orton was accompanies by Edge down to ringside. A lot of rest holds in this match, and was pretty slow. Cena dominated until Edge distracted the referee, allowing Orton to hit Cena with a low blow. Orton was set up for the RKO, but Cena blocked it. Cena began his usual few moves leading up to the FU, but once again, the lights went out. The lights were off for a good 10 seconds before coming back on. When they were back on, the ring was cleared, except for two men. Cena was lying, knocked out in the middle of the ring, as Jericho was standing above him, doing his famous pose. Raw then goes off the air.

Michael Cole's Interview with Kenny Dykstra:
Michael Cole: Hi Kenny, and welcome to WWE.COM
Kenny Dykstra: Uh, excuse me Michael, the name is not Kenny. It is Kenny Dykstra!
MC: Sorry, Mr. Dykstra. First off, what are you're feelings towards people saying you need the Spirit Squad to back you up in order to succeed?
KD: You see Michael, there is a prime example of the ignorance of WWE fans. It was quite obvious I was the shining light in the Spirit Squad. No one talked about Nicky, Mikey, Johnny or Mitch. The talk was about me, Kenny Dykstra.
MC: There have also been rumours floating around about former Squad member Johnny returning, and looking for some retribution.
KD: Retribution? Retribution from what? I carried him the whole time he was in my team.
MC: Well, he blogged on his Myspace.com page that you hogged the limelight.
KD: Hah. I won't believe it until it happens.
MC: Moving on, you have said you are eyeing off that Intercontinental Title. And after those interesting confrountations with Johnny Nitro this past Monday, what is on the cards for Kenny Dykstra?
KD: Well, it is quite obvious I should have the WWE Title around my waist at this very moment. But, I havn't got that oppertunity yet. I will get that Intercontinental Title, it is just a matter of time.
MC: Well, thanks for joining us Kenny.
KD: Whatever.
