Spoilers below for House of M
While I totally agree that they need less mutants... I just know some of my favorites will be stripped of their powers.
It was obvious this was going to be the outcome and I can't wait to see the Marvel Universe after this.

Well, I think at first they'll have NO mutants, but Strange will fix that. He obviously threw up some kind of spell beforehand.
I made a few of my thoughts known in the HoX/IC thread, so I wont repeat them all. Suffice to say its good, but mostly too predictable. I mean, Quicksilver isnt really a villain (and is he even dead?) because none of this is "real". Thats why Crisis is better-most of this stuff will happen and not be wiped away.
I did like Magento's freak out, though. It was cool to see him snap, but also showed how much a failure he is of a father. I mean, he was more angry Pietro did his thing to him than WHY he did it. Magnus needs some serious help.
Though really ANYONE can write Magneto better than Claremont does anymore.

The mutant population decreasing was really the only feasible option of the 6 potential outcomes they gave out a while back. I don't think many established mutants will be affected by this. I'm betting the mutations that seem to be popping up all across the country will stop. I bet nobody like Iceman, Husk or even Sabra's going to be losing their powers.

Yea, it's Marvel's not so subtle way of completely erasing anything Grant Morrison did during his run. |
