April 2nd 2007 from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio
At WrestleMania 23, Shawn Michaels landed Sweet Chin Music on John Cena to capture his 4th reign as WWE Champion, a title he hasn't held in 9 years. Cena held onto one title though; the World Tag Team gold he shares with Michaels. Tonight, they must co-exist to defend that gold against the World's Greatest Tag Team.
The Battle of the Billionaires didn't quite go in the favour of Mr. McMahon. McMahon has got to be on the warpath as ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley, with a little help from Stone Cold Steve Austin, defeated Umaga.
Speaking of Umaga, his Intercontinental title will be on the line in a rematch with former champion, Jeff Hardy.
All this and more tonight on Monday Night RAW! 9/8 CT on the USA Network.

April 2nd 2007 from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio
The show opens with the usual RAW video package. Hall of Famers J.R and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcome us to the show, hyping tonights World Tag Team title defense Main Event.
Shane McMahon comes down to the ring and gets on the mic. He says his father, Mr. McMahon, is so upset after last night's occurances that tonight he will be running the show. Shane calls out ECW Champion Bobby Lashley. Lashley comes down, and enters the ring. Shane tells Lashley that siding with Donald Trump has killed his career here in the WWE and ECW. The McMahon's are going to make Lashley's life hell, starting tomorrow night when Lashley will defend his ECW World title on Sci-Fi!
Our opening contest was Umaga's Intercontinental title defense against Jeff Hardy. Even after the gruelling Money In The Bank Ladder Match last night, Hardy still through his body at Umaga. However, it did not phase the Samoan Bulldozer, who ran down Hardy like nothing. Estrada pushed Hardy from the top rope just before a Swanton Bomb attempt. Umaga eventually caught Hardy with the Samoan Spike, retaining his title.
Backstage, Ric Flair and Carlito discuss the future. Flair tells Carlito how impressed he is with him, and mentions that if they win tonight they are sure to get a World Tag Team title shot.
Meanwhile, in her own locker room, Women's Champion Melina is with Johnny Nitro. The pair are watching Melina's victory at WrestleMania when Mickie James walks in. Mickie tells Melina she got lucky last night, but won't be so fortunate in a match with her. She tells Melina to be prepared for next week as they will square off for the Women's Championship!
Elsewhere, Edge is backstage talking to a backstage worker, laughing and joking about Vince McMahon. Just then, the workers eyes stop dead, as standing behind Edge is a bald Mr. McMahon! He orders the worker away, as Edge looks horrified. McMahon demands an explanation, as Edge begins to lie his way out of it. He spins a tale that Randy Orton has been going around making fun of McMahon's new 'hair style', but he starts sucking up claiming he likes it. McMahon shuts him up, and says Orton doesn't value what he is. He's gonna know what it's like to fight for something of value.. his job. McMahon has been approached by another superstar outside of RAW for a job. If Orton loses to this man tonight, Orton is FIRED! McMahon storms off as Edge looks slightly relieved.
In our next match, Ric Flair and Carlito defeated Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch. Carlito look impressive throughout, even Flair thought so. Carlito' Backcracker on Cade sealed the win. Flair raised Carlito's hand in celebration.
We see a recap video from the start of the show, as Shane McMahon reveals Bobby Lashley will defend the ECW title tomorrow night on ECW on Sci-Fi.
We see another comercial, hyping the Backlash pay-per-view on April 29th. The tag line reads "Feels like Heaven in your arms", whilst finishing with a shot of Shawn Michaels with the WWE Championship.
Randy Orton come out for his match, pissed off at the fact he's been put in this position. His opponent is revealed to be Chris Benoit of Smackdown! A fairly even contest, both men pulled out all the stops. Edge ran down to the ring to try and help his 'friend'. The referee got knocked down in a mix up, allowing Edge to come into the ring and prepare to Spear Benoit. However, Benoit pulled a groggy Orton in the way, and he got Speared! Benoit hit Edge with a German Suplex, sending him rolling out the ring. Benoit hit a Swan Dive Headbutt on Orton to pick up the victory. Benoit is now on RAW, and Orton is fired. Post-match, as both Orton and Edge come round, Orton shoves his partner, who slaps Orton. Edge turns to leave, but Orton turns him and nails an RKO on the Rated R Superstar before walking out.
Todd Grisham is with former WWE Champion John Cena, who gets booed heavily upon coming into view. Grisham asks how it feels to be one title down. Cena admits the better man won, and he looks forward to being Shawn Michaels tag team partner tonight. But don't be mistaken, he will regain the WWE title. Cena tells Michaels that he may respect him, but nothing will stop him from taking 'what's his'. Cena leaves as his match is about to get underway.
In our Main Event, WWE Champion Shawn Michaels and John Cena defended their World Tag Team titles against Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, the World's Greatest Tag Team. Michaels and Cena looked to be in trouble as Michaels was double teamed throughout most of the match. However, Cena makes the hot tag and comes straight in after Haas and Benjamin. Cena hits a Spinout Powerbomb and a 5-Knuckle Shuffle on Haas, before stalking Benjamin. However, he turn and nails Michaels with an F-U. The crowd boo insanely, as Cena stares with a blank expression at the fallen champion. Benjamin covers, as Cena walks away. We have new World Tag Team Champions. What has gotten into Cena? He walks up the rampway, and looks back as we end Monday Night RAW.

I hopefully will be reading this as I am starting to like it. Orton RKOing Edge sounds like a good way for the two to finally turn on one another and having Cena possibly turn heel is a good idea. Hopefully, HBK keeps the title for a while.

Extreme Championship Wrestling on Sci Fi preview - Vince McMahon has ruled that Bobby Lashley will defend his ECW Championship this week on Sci Fi. Who will Lashley be facing and will he be able to overcome the odds and retain the championship? Also this week....It's New Breed vs. Originals all over again, just in the form of a singles match as Rob Van Dam goes up against Kevin Thorn live on ECW! Will the Extreme original be able to defeat the fanged freak? or will Thorn prove that vampires, bite. Finally; Smackdown's "The Miz" will be hosting a Dancing contest in which Diva's from any brand can participate and its up to YOU, the people at home to decide who wins.

I enjoyed RAW, not happy about Orton being fired, although Benoit on RAW is a good move. Liked the Cena turn. keep it up.
