WWF RAW is WAR:We open the show with Jim Ross and Vince McMahon welcoming you to the debut show of RAW is WAR. They run down the card for tonight, as we go to the opener..
Goldust vs. Flash Funk opened the show. This was a fairly good bout for being a TV bout. Goldust won with the Curtain Call, and posed on top of Funk post-match. As he was walking backstage, he looked into the camera and said the he will shatter dreams at the Royal Rumble. (78%)
We go backstage to Todd Pettengill who is with Bret "Hitman" Hart, who teams with longtime rival Shawn Michaels tonight to face his own brother Owen Hart and Undertaker. Bret says he's willing to put his grudges aside to get past this match, but come Royal Rumble, all three of them better get ready to fly over the top rope, because the Hitman is walking out the winner of the 1997 Royal Rumble.
The next bout was Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Savio Vega in an Intercontinental Title rematch. The crowd was pulling for Savio tonight, and he delivered a great bout with Helmsley, nearly winning the title with both a crucifix and a backslide. The match ended when Savio hit a brutal spinning wheel kick, and pinned Hunter to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship. He celebrated with the belt post-match, until Mankind made a run-in, attacking the newly crowned champion before challenging him for the belt at the Royal Rumble. (83%)
A graphic hyped our main event, British Bulldog vs. Sycho Sid, which is coming up later tonight!
We come back to a bout between Justin Hawk Bradshaw and Marc Mero. There wasn't any real heat to the match, the crowd really couldn't care less. Mero won with a schoolboy pin. Bradshaw attacked him post-match with a chair, bloodying him before going backstage with a pissed off look on his face. (63%)
We see that Bret and Shawn vs. Owen and Undertaker is up next!
Our next bout was Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker and Owen Hart. This was a great bout that the crowd really got into, cheering for both teams. Bret locked Owen in the Sharpshooter, but when Shawn went to hit Undertaker with the Sweet Chin Music, Undertaker moved, causing Shawn to hit Bret! Undertaker then knocked Shawn out of the ring, and Tombstoned Bret to win. After the match, he attacked Owen, and posed as we go to... (88%)
Sycho Sid in his dressing room. He tells Bulldog that the game they're about to play is simple. Two men enter, one man survives. He says that the man who survives tonight will be Sycho Sid. Why? Because he rules the world.
Our main event of Bulldog vs. Sid is next!
The main event is on. Sid and Bulldog put on a good match here, with Bulldog being backed by a majority of the audience. Bulldog inadvertantly knocked down the ref, and Sid hit the powerbomb on Bulldog. While the ref was down, James E. Cornette ran in, blasting Sid in the face with the tennis racket. Vader came in shortly thereafter, and hit Sid with a powerbomb. Vader put Bulldog on top of Sid, and got out of sight as the ref counted the 3. Bulldog looks completely shocked, he can't believe he just beat the WWF Champ! He celebrates with his WWF Tag Team Title as we go off the air. (80%)

Your both doing great, i loved the Monday Night Wars, i used to watch WWF more but watched WCW occasionally too. Benoit vs. Malenko for US Title will be awesome, nice to see Alex Wright get a title shot. I'm really looking forward to the rumble, i either see Bulldog or Taker winning it. I would like to see Vader win the title too but i don't think it will happen. Overall i really like, both PPV's are looking great, i enjoyed reading Raw and i can't wait to read Nitro.

Holy crap. Raw was freakin' amazing. I love the fact that your pushing a Bret/HBK feud, or thats what it seems like.
Can't wait for the Royal Rumble, and Mankind to (hopefully) capture the Intercontinental Championship. I'm looking very forward to this, Ricky, keep up the effing phenominal work.
And if you wouldn't mind, could you please drop a reply to WWE 2007?

Nitro Results:Tony Schavonie and Bobby Heenan welcome us to another episode of Nitro! This is the last edition of Nitro, until the first big PPV of the year, Souled Out! Schavonie sends us to the ring as Ric Flair is standing by.... Flair notes that it wouldn't be a WCW event, if he wasn't involved. He said that at Souled out, he will be guest announcing with Schavonie and Heenan! The crowd was glad to hear that. Chris Jericho v. Konann:A better match than expected. The crowd seemed to like these two, and of course, Chris Jericho went over. He keeps his title push going, as he finished of the lengthy match with a Lion Tamer. (70%)A hype video for the Giant aired. He got a good reaction from the crowd. Jeff Jarrett was backstage. He said that the Giant shouldn't be getting all the hype. It should be him. Jarrett layed down a challenge to the Giant for Souled Out! The crowd laughed at him and Eddie Guerrero who was backstage at the time said, "Essy, you're nuts!" #1 Contender's match to the Tag ChampionshipsThe Steiner Brothers v. Harlem Heat:A GREAT tag team bout. These two team fed off of eachother. The end saw Stevie Ray suffer a Steiner-Line. The Steiners celebrated, until the Outsiders made their way to the ring. They attempted to lay out the Steiners, but Rick and Scott fought them off, making them retreat. That should be a good match.(78%)Lex Luger is warming up backstage, when Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, and Sting come up to him. They said that they are sick of the nWo, and tonight it will be the end of them. Luger agrees and continues to warm up. Piper pulls Savage aside and said that they needed to watch out for Sting, he could be on the nWo's side, since he is so quiet. Savage nods as we go to the ring... Ultimo Dragon/Dean Malenko v. Chris Benoit/Alex Wright:Another good match, an even match at it. Wright almost had Malenko beat, but Malenko kicked out of it. The end however, saw Benoit hit a headbutt and then lock in a crossface on Ultimo Dragon to the fans delight.(71%)MAIN EVENT NO DQ MATCHLex Luger v. Buff Bagwell:The crowd was really into this No DQ match. The highlight of the match, was when Bubba Rogers came down and smacked Luger with a chair. Piper ran down and attacked Rogers. Then, Luger was hit with another chair from Masahiro Chono. Savage took him out. Finally, Syxx came down and attempted to hit Luger with the ring bell, but Luger ducked and Syxx hit Bagwell. Luger took care of Syxx and then locked in the Torture Rack on Bagwell for the win! Luger will face Hogan at Souled Out for the World Title! Hogan came out at the end of the match, and said that he will take on Luger with ease. But the nWo has another challenge. Syxx and Big Bubba Rogers challenge Roddy Piper and Randy Savage to a match, and Masahiro Chono challenges Sting! Oh my! The show ends with the nWo on the ramp and Luger and his crew in the ring.(71%)

Both shows are going well. Im really liked Raw, although I couldnt believe HHH jobbed the IC title to Savio Vega! Other than that I loved it. Nitro was nice too. I like the "resistance" type group of luger, sting, savage, and piper.

This diary is going real well. The buildup to both PPV's is kickass. I'd probably pick Nitro as the best show just. Keep it up.

Seriously, have Bulldog win the Rumble and I'll officially recognise this as the GREATEST diary ever. Vega as champion should have happened in 95. I think now it's a little late. I'd like to see the strap go back to Hunter but oh well.
Keep it up. I'd say WWF is slightly ahead right now.

Saturday Night Results:Tony Schavonie greets us from ringside, as we get set for our first match between Regal and McMichael... Lord Steven Regal v. Steve McMichael:This match was a decent opener. The crowd wasn't too hot for it, but, the men put on a good showing. The end saw Squire David Taylor attacked McMichael with a chair, when the ref was distracted by Regal. Regal then rolled him up for the 3. A decent match.(64%)A hype video for Luger/Hogan aired to the crowds delight. Juventud Guerrera v. Billy Kidman:A great match, but once again, the crowd didn't like it. Juvi got the win after a moonsault.(62%)A Bobby Eaton Video aired... The Giant was backstage. He said that Jeff Jarrett better brace himself, because the Giant is coming. Luger's Crew was in the ring. Sting told Chono to watch himself, and Piper/Savage said the same to Syxx and Bubba Rogers. 3 more matches have been added to the card! MAIN EVENTArn Anderson v. Brian Knobbs:An ok match, that took a chunk of time out of the show. Jerry Saggs tried to interfere, but Anderson fought him off and then hit a spinebuster for the win and to end the show.(70%)

That is one awesome Souled Out. Benoit/Malenko is going to own but hoping Malenko wins. Glad Luger is getting a major push but hoping he doesn't win the gold. Keep it up.

Shotgun:We open the show with Savio Vega in the ring. After a few seconds of waiting, we see that the very man he beat for the Intercontinental Title, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, is his opponent! This was a good match, very back-and-forth. Vega won once again with a rollup, and quickly got out of the ring. As he was walking back, Mankind attacked him with a chair. (83%)
We go to Gorilla Monsoon, who announces that Justin Hawk Bradshaw has been suspended for his recent actions. Therefore, his spot in the 1997 Royal Rumble has been taken by..MR. PERFECT!
Gorilla also confirms the addition of Rocky Maivia and Flash Funk vs. the winners of the WWF Tag Title Match to the Royal Rumble card.
Our main event is on now. Bulldog and Owen vs. the Smokin' Gunns. This match had the crowd backing the challengers, who nearly won on several occasions. Billy hit Owen with a DDT, but Bulldog broke up the pin. The finish saw Davey Boy hit the Running Powerslam on Bart for the 1-2-3! Davey said he'd win the Rumble next Sunday, whereas Owen said he was going to win. The two shoved each other, and then had a staredown as we go off the air. (72%)
