Now get the guns, the drugs, From my generation. I’ll take the fall, the saints, across the nation. And it’s the sex, the gods, the freaks, the frauds. They’re messin’ with me, Come on, come on, come on. Let’s get it on!
Move to the music, Play that ing music, Move it to the music, yeah! (Get it on) Move to my music, Play that ing music, Live through my music, yeah!
Opening: Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler greet us to the 1st Raw in the new Mullienum! They said that the card is stacked, and that there is no time for talkin', as we get right down to action.
Royal Rumble Quailifer Chris Jericho v. X-Pac: A decent opener, but the crowd was into it enough to put both men over. Pac almost had the win, when he hit the X-Factor, but Jericho kicked out. Pac complained to the ref and Jericho hit a backcracker and then locked in the walls of Jericho for the win. Chris Jericho is the first man to qualify for the 2000 Royal Rumble. Winner: Chris Jericho Rating: 75%
We cut back from commercial break, where Jeff Hardy is in the ring, getting pumped for his Royal Rumble qualifier against Hardcore Holly.
Royal Rumble Qualifier Jeff Hardy v. Hardcore Holly: The crowd made the match better than it was. These two didn't connect in the ring. Holly won that match after he hit a Falcon Arrow. Winner: Hardcore Holly Rating: 68%
The Rock is backstage. He said that you can add another man to the Royal Rumble. The Most Electifing Man is Sports Entertainment today, THE ROCK!
European Championship Val Venis (c) v. Test: Well, this match wasn't good. There isn't another way to put it. These two had no chemistry at all, and it was plain brutal. Venis retained after he nailed the money shot. Winner and Still European Champion: Val Venis Rating: 60%
Stephanie and Triple H are backstage. She tells him that tonight is just another step on Triple H's path to the World Heavyweight Championship. He agrees and keeps getting ready.
Royal Rumble Qualifier Al Snow v. Gangrel: You thought the last match was brutal, this one was even worse. This match was quick and ended after a Snow Plow from Al Snow. Winner: Al Snow Rating: 59%
A Kurt Angle hype video aired, where at the end, it said that Angle will also take part in the Rumble.
The World Champion, The Big Show came out and said that is was now time for Triple H's Challenge. Triple H comes out and asks Show who it is. Just then, the arena went orange and a big 13 appeared on the titan tron. Tazz, who is making his WWF debut, but is no stranger to Pro-Wrestling, came out and Triple H looked worried...
If Triple H wins, He faces Show at RR Triple H v. Tazz: This match was TIGHT. These two blended well, and it was definatley Main Event worth. The game almost won, when he hit a spinebuster, but Tazz prevailed. He locked in the tazzmission and Triple H passed out. Tazz wins! Afterwards, Big Show was laughing on the ramp at Triple H, but, Tazz gave him the cut throat and Show became worried as the show went off the air. Winner: Tazz Rating: 81%

January 3rd, 2000*nWo 2000 drag out Kid Romeo to the ring. Hart gets on the mic and says that the nWo is back with a plan. They've already got the WCW World title and the United States title, now they want power and control. They offer Vince Russo a spot in the New World Order. They get no response so Bret threatens that Hall and Nash will beat Romeo to a bloody pulp. Still no answer, so the Outsiders make good on their word and dismantle Kid Romeo until he is busted open and lifeless. The five men then leave the ring, remorseless over their actions*Madusa vs. Evan KaragiasWCW Cruiserweight ChampionshipIn a rematch from Starrcade '99, the surprise champ, Madusa, actually pulled off a few holds on Karagias. Not a whole lot of acrobatics yet, as Madusa did her best to keep her opponent grounded. Evan then battled out of a hammerlock and it looked like it was his to win. But Madusa landed a wicked clothesline that knocked the wind out of Evan. Madusa then set up for a powerbomb to put him away, but Karagias countered into a back body drop. Shannon Moore then hopped on the apron as Shane Helms distracted the ref. Moore had the audacity to try and level Madusa with a title belt shot, but she ducked it ended up blasting Evan! Madusa then dropkicked Moore off and gave Helms a forearm. She made the cover...1...2...3! Again, shockingly, Madusa is still the WCW Cruiserweight champ! Karagias and Shannon get into a shoving contest after the match, and then Shane breaks them up and tries to talk reasoning. Winner: Madusa (50%)*Lex Luger comes out with Miss Elizabeth, and there is a large couple of mirrors set up in the ring. Luger poses in front of the mirrors as Elizabeth gets on the mic and starts hyping him up. She says Lex is making an open challenge to anyone in the back to take on the Total Package. It doesn't take long for DDP's music to blare throughout the arena. Luger looks a little worried, but Page tells him to calm down, because he isn't accepting the challenge. DDP says that he's decided to journey on a new route in the wrestling business, as a mentor. He said that a few days back, he found the perfect protege, and right now looks like the perfect opportunity for his first match under DDP's wing. Page introduces Mark Jindrak, who then enters. Luger doesn't seem intimidated at all, but DDP looks confident. Page then makes the challenge for this Thursday on Thunder, and Luger takes the mic from Elizabeth and accepts with a smirk*
*The nWo is knocking on Vince Russo's office door. No reply, and the nWo storm off. Hugh Morrus crosses their path, and Steiner and Jarrett proceed to beat the holy hell out of him. They then walk away*Chris Benoit vs. Steve WilliamsThis match began with a test of strength and built into a contest hold to counterhold. Benoit got the better of it, but bounced off the ropes right into a power slam. Williams took control for a while and just about hit the Oklahoma Stampede, but Benoit slid off the shoulder and turned it into his rolling germans! He hit 4 consecutively, as Steve then tried to muscle out of it. Benoit got irish whipped and ducked a clothesline and countered into the Crippler Crossface! Dr. Death squirmed and fought to get out of the hold, but eventually gave in and tapped. Winner: Chris Benoit (72%)*Jim Duggan comes out and targets his words to Rick Steiner and Mike Rotunda, the Varsity Club. He says that is wasn't very American for the Varsity Club to turn on their partner at Starrcade, which was Duggan. Jim says he doesn't want an explanation, because he could give a damn. He just wants some revenge. Steiner and Rotunda come out, with their manager Leia Meow. They join Duggan in the ring and ask him what he thinks his chances are of winning a handicap match like this. Duggan replies that it won't be a handicap, because he's found a partner. Out walks Ric Flair to the roar of the crowd! The Nature Boy says that on Thunder this week, the Varsity Club are going to take on a true captain of the sport. "To be the man... WOOO... you gotta beat the man!"*
*A video plays, hyping up Curt Hennig who says that he is a true veteran of the sport of wrestling. He says that on WCW Saturday Night, he will make an open challenge to any up-and-comer who wants to know what it's like to step into the ring with a ring general*La Parka vs. PsychosisThis bout quickly went to a no contest because Hall and Nash came to the ring and beat them both down, ending the attack with a pair of chair shots. They shouted something about... the crowd can blame Russo for this. Winner: No contest (60%)*Sid Vicious is seen talking to Randy Savage in the locker rooms. Sid says, "Can you believe this? There's rumors going around that Goldberg feels he's entitled to another title shot against Bret. What makes him think he deserves that??" Savage simply shrugs and continues messing around with the things in his locker. Sid then says that someone ought to put Goldberg in his place, slams his locker door, and walks off. Macho Man just mumbles to himself and shakes his head while still tending to his locker*
*The Filthy Animals are seen walking around backstage. Kidman spots Vince Russo and runs up to him. He asks if Russo is aware of what the nWo has done and Russo says that he has. Kidman that gets anxious and asks why the hell Russo hasn't done anything about it... Vince simply replies that there is nothing to do and walks away. Kidman is joined by Rey, Konnan, and Eddie and they all look confused and somewhat frustrated*Booker T, Big T, Stevie Ray, Sean O'Haire, Mike Sanders, Shannon Moore, Shane Helms, Disco Inferno, Chavo Guerrero, & Kanyon10-Man Battle RoyalDisco Inferno was launched very early on. Big T plowed through Kanyon and eliminated him. Mike Sanders was next as Chavo hit a leg lariat. Guerrero then bit the dust thanks to a sneak attack from Stevie Ray. Booker T got knocked to the apron by Helms, but then gave him a shoulder thrust, and back body dropped him to ringside. Big T gave O'Haire a clothesline to eliminate him, and Booker T delivered a leaping side kick to dispose of Shannon Moore. It was then a stand off between Booker and Harlem Heat 2000. Booker ducked a double clothesline then hit each one with half a dropkick simultaneously. He began pounded away at Big T, but his brother tossed him off and they trapped Booker in the corner and began stomping the hell out of him. Big T then picked up and irish whipped him, then bounced off the ropes himself. Big T tried for another clothesline, but Booker ducked and bounced off the ropes again. He came back and gave a diving forearm to Big T. Stevie then jumped on him and gave some clubbing blows. But Booker fought out and tried a thrust kick. Stevie dodged it and it caught Big T right in the chin, and sent him to ringside! The original Harlem Heat will competing at Sin for the WCW Tag Team titles! Stevie and Booker both don't look too happy. Winners: Booker T & Stevie Ray (57%)*The Revolution (The Franchise, Malenko, Saturn, & Asya) enter the ring. Shane Douglas grabs a mic and says that he is the Franchise... therefore WCW World champion material. He continues on about how he feels that the next shot at the strap should be his... then Goldberg's music kicks in. Wordless, Goldberg enters the ring and immediately spears Douglas. Malenko, Saturn, and Asya all pounce on him, but get shoved away. "Da Man" roars and begins throwing shoulder blocks, kicks, and punches, repeatedly knocking each of the Revolution members off their feet. Douglas then catches Goldberg off guard and attempts a Franchiser, but ends up taking a back heel trip, then a thrust kick for good measure. The Revolution flee as Goldberg stands dominant in the ring. He yells at Douglas that no one is going to get in his way of once again holding the gold*Jeff Jarrett vs. Buff BagwellUnited States ChampionshipJarrett came out with Scott Steiner, who talked smack to Bagwell the entire match. Bagwell had an aura cockiness about him, as whenever he hit a decent move, he'd take time out to pose. But unlike most others, he remained on his opponent afterward instead of paying the price. Jarrett tried a few cheap tactics, but none kept the momentum in his favor. Buff eventually hit a brainbuster and attempted a pin, but Steiner pulled the ref out of the ring! Scott then dove in and delivered a spinning belly to belly to Bagwell. Jarrett then gained his composure and hit the Stroke on Bagwell, leading to a pic victory. The nWo then swarmed the ring and beat down Bagwell until the Filthy Animals came out to make the save. They get the upper hand at first, but due to the numbers game, the nWo battled back. It ends with a guitar shot from Jarrett to Kidman as Nitro goes off the air. Winner: Jeff Jarrett (77%)
