No Alba, no deal.
Livin' la vida loca... Well if anyone can pull this off it's those Weinstein Brothers with their new company. From Variety through the SciFi Blog, the news is that Sin City is set to movie to the small screen:
I think they're comments are quite right over at the SciFi Blog, it would be one hell of an expensive TV series, unless the effects team have it streamlined to a standard process now, perhaps they do. However I forsee some other problems, the level of violence and overall content will have to be heavily toned down for a wide distribution, otherwise they're looking at smaller cable channels.
Would you like to see a TV series? Could it work and retain the same feel as the movies?
Fox's Fastlane had outrageous production costs (about a million dollars an episode) and met the axe at the end of the first season. I could see the same fate for a Sin City television series.

Fox has a bad habit of canning TV series before they can get started. Firefly, much? That bit them in the butt. It makes me lose faith in any new series Fox puts out. I know they won't stick around. It is sad. Expect for Headcases. That was awesome. Gone after two episodes. you, Adam Goldberg. I digress. I think Sin City would meet the same fate. Kim

No. Just no.
As much as I love and adore Sin City, a TV show is the last thing it needs. It would be a meare shell of it's awesome self. And of course, it'll only last a handfull of episodes because some mom in Vermont will complain, and the high production costs(for a TV series) would seal it's fate. But at least I could expect to see reruns of it on G4 everyday at 4, they seem to enjoy picking up shows that haven't aired in a while. Max Headroom, Fastlane, and now, the original Man Show....

No way should they do a Sin City TV series. I'd much rather have more movies in place of a friggin' TV show. How would it possibly work? Like you said, it would cost a an arm and a leg for every episode, plus there would be C grade actors and acrtresses staring in it. The whole thing just has "disaster" written all over it.

Nah, because they wouldn't get people like Rourke, and Stahl, and Willis to be in the TV series... it would all be bit actors. I'd rather see another 3-5 movies.
