The title says it all, who is your favorite Batman and which Bat-Film is your personal favorite?
I am going with the first Batman (Nicholson and Keaton) for my favorite Batman film. It had a great look and Jack's Joker, in my opinion, was the best comic book baddie to ever grace the Silver screen.
As for my favorite Batman, I am going with Keaton. After watching Batman multiple times over the past week and a half, I think that Keaton was the one man who was truely right for the role. Don't get me wrong, I loved Bale's Batman, just not as much as Keaton's. I think I like having an older male actor like Keaton playing Batman and Bruce Wayne over the younger Bale.
Those are just my opinions though, what are your thoughts and favorites?

Batman Begins is the best done Batman movie. The only beef I have with it is that it tried to hard to be "realistic" and explain everything. Th efirst two films sort of give in more to the fantasy and the comic book aspect and was a little more colorful. Visually i like Batman Returns the best, but quality wise Batman Begins in the best, and also Christian Bale is my favorite Batman/Bruce Wayne.

Batman Begins is the best film. As far as Bats himself, I still always picture Adam West in that role.

My favorite film is Batman Begins, followed shortly by the original Burton Batman.
However, I wasn't overly huge on Bale as Batman, and still give Keaton the edge. But as KAM says, I will always be partial to Mr. West.

top 5 Batmans 1. Christian Bale 2. Michael Keaton 3. Val Kilmer 4. Adam West 5. George Clooney
Top 5 Bruce Waynes 1. Chrstian Bale 2. Val Kilmer 3. Michael Keaton 4. Adam West 5. George Clooney.
I thought Bale played Batman to perfection, using Bruce Wayne as his mask rather than Batman...I felt that he WAS batman in his film, every other film it felt like it was a job.

My favorite Batfilm is easily 'Batman Begins', but not unlike WOJC I'm partial to Keaton. I think Bale did a fine job, but Keaton was so perfect as both Bruce Wayne and Batman that he's left a lasting impression that will be hard to overcome. Adam West is amazing as Batman in a whole different regard. If there was only one voice I could impersonate it would be Mr. West if only for the ability to look at people and call them 'Old Chum' in his voice.

Bets Bat-film has got to be Begins. They just got so much right. Yeah, Katie Holmes sucked, but Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michale Caine, and especially Gary Oldman were all fantastic. I think the way Gordon was including as such an intergral part is one of the main reasons the movie succeeded.
As for favorite Batman, I'm going out on a limb to say Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman on the animated series and JLU. He was the first actor to do Batman's voice an octave lower than Bruce Wayne's, which Bale so excellently ripped off in Begins. Conroy did better acting just by talking than Clooney and Kilmer combined.

I didn't think of Conroy. But yeah, he's perfect as the voice fo Batman.
I was actually discussing this with someone at work, and we both agreed Clooney was good as Bruce Wayne, but shitty as Bats. My co-worker even suggested Clooney should have played him, the way he played Seth in Dusk Till Dawn, as an bunghole.

At least someone mentioned Kevin Conroy. HE is Batman. Whenever I read a comic, I hear him. And he is always the first person I think of when someone says who's the best Batman.
Honestly, I never bought Keaton as Batman. He made Bruce Wayne too much like Batman when he wasn't in the suit. He was subdued and dark and sometimes crazy, and Bruce Wayne is supposed to show very little of that to the outside world. However, he was the only guy to grasp the inherent sadness of being Batman, of feeling this need to do it forever that nothing else can be placed above it. To his credit, none of the other Batman got that until Bale.
Bale got it all. As Wayne, he was carefree, kinda stupid, and an arrogant rich snob...a type of facade that NO ONE would think might be Batman. And as Batman, he was scary to both criminals AND everybody else. Only in the first act of "Batman" was Keaton kinda scary.
Still, Bale is second to Conroy, but Begins is hands down the best Bat film.
And I also always thought Kilmer played Bruce very well. Honestly, I think Joel Suckmaker made him be campy and silly and Kilmer likely could have done him much darker with a better director.

I'd have to concur on the thought of Kevin Conroy as my favorite Batman. I'm partial to Conroy as I have grown up with that voice. From Batman: The Animated Series to Batman Beyond and Justice League, he has been - the - definitive voice of Batman, or at least to I. In regards to my favorite Batman film that isn't animated (Return of the Joker), I suppose Batman Begins is my favorite if only for the superb casting of Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon. ;D

Hopefully, Cartoon Network gives us Conroy again this year, instead of showing poorly dubbed anime.

What pisses me off, is that these shows are vastly inferior to JLU. They give two episodes a week, for three weeks, and then take it away. Bastards.

I think the problem with Keaton was that the movies focused more on Batman then on Bruce Wayne, where as Batman Begins sort of balanced the two together.

Favorite for both 1989 Batman, although Batman Begins was well done in my opinion.

My favorite Batman film is Batman Returns. I just like it. I think it's played out well, it doesn't take itself too serious and I love the Christmas setting.

When I was younger, Michael Keaton was my idol, he was totally awesome. Yet, as I have gotten older, the original Batman films have lost their charm. I sat back and watched Batman Returns totally dissapointed. The original Batman is still a great film, but other than that, I have no use for any of the films except Batman Begins.
Bale is the definitive Batman, period. Keaton's a good Batman, but his Bruce Wayne stunk, I think it was partly due to Tim Burton trying to make Wayne this weirdo type character, while Bale played the whole dickhead facade aspect of the character perfectly.
