Report: Turned away fans chant "F*** TNA"

We just got the word that TNA wrestlers and management invited 700 "VIPs" and they only let about 200 fans into the venue. They probably turned away 700-1000 fans, many of whom were here to sample the product and had waited 4-6 hours. There was a pretty hostile scene with an "F--- TNA" chant breaking out. Not exactly the exposure they were looking for.

- "700 "VIPs" and they only let about 200 fans into the venue." is most likley bullshit. VIP list is for fans aswell. So, more than 200 fans got in there.
- Honestly, I knew the whole thing was going to be bomb as far as the fans go due to the fact it only sits 900 - 1,000 fans and they turned that many away.

Could TNA have possibly run Impact in a larger place for this weekend only? I don't know about the Orlando area but I wonder if they have some places that would have been able to accommodate those fans? I just look at it as such a waste for that may potential fans to be turned away. |

So TNA gave up what 4 seats for Baseball players? Wow nothing to bitch about. Everyone on the VIP list is a fan. Just more took advantage of it so they would know that 100% they would get in. Anyone can get on the VIP list as long as you email the TNA link.

I'd say having the Detroit Tigers in attendance is VERY good for TNA. It shows that mainstream sports athletes care about their product. However the difference here is... I'd rather have them be just in attendance like the Tigers were rather than actually participating in the event... |

I've always liked the product, but TNA is seeming really obnoxious, like showing Robby in the crowd, the stupid plane, and now this. All they want is exposure and controversy.
