I'd like to see what people think. Since I was intrigued, I grabbed the trade of issues 1-6.

I've been reading it since the beginning. When I first started reading it, the first 4 issues or so were amazing... But now it's just really a drag. They really don't do anything...

Yeah, finally got around to reading it last night. It had a very exciting opening but fizzled down. Still, I like the fact Marvel did something with Sauron.

first storyarch was balls out marvel...everything and anything happened...it was like a huge action blockbuster...then every subsequent storyarch got worse and worse...the ronin one was ok but it seems like its pointless. Like they are in japan...ok. great.

I just picked up the Ronin issues today,i haven't gotten around to reading them yet,but I do agree with everyone else on here that the initial 6 or so issues were great.I am one of those who actually liked the Disassembled series from last year and was very intriuged as to where they were gonna go with this. They had me going pretty good until the last couple months ;then I slacked off.But my opinion could change once I get into this Ronin storyline. On the bright side taking time off from the newer comics gave me a chance to catch up on some old Lobo issues I was wanting to track down...lol

Welcome to the world of Brian Michale Bendis's writing. He does this in virtually every book he writes. FANTASTIC writer for dialogue, so much so that he gets wrapped up in people talking and not doing much else. At all. When he gets into something, though, it comes out really good. He needs a better editor to prod him to stop futzing around for two issues or more. I did like the end of the last issue, though. He writes Cap very well.
