I am starting this is hopes that someone from Mattel will read this. We have all expressed concerns about scale, deco, rings, accessories, belts, classics, etc....but what else would you do if you had the WWE license?
Who knows, our requests may be fulfilled...in 2010!

I would abandon the RA style. That's a Jakks thing, and frankly Mattel can do better. I would make them super articulated (double jointed knees and elbows), and in scale with the DCSH line I would leak a couple proto pictures very early next year. I would make a RAW ring set for the first wave with JR, King, and a Ref while keeping the price under $40. The first wave would be the champions from RAW all with painted titles I would follow with the second wave ring for Smackdown with Coach, Cole, and a ref Second wave would be Smackdowns champions Then the third wave would be for ECW ring and announcers. The ECW series would need more work though since they only have one champion, so I would pack guys like Edge, UT, HBK, and Jeff Hardy into that series
Then I would continue the waves in cycles. RAW, Smackdown, ECW/catch up.

Not really sure. I mean I would definately keep the scale. But I would not want to have mirror image figs that are practically the same thing as Jakks, ya know?

In all fairness. If i were Mattel, i'd go on the Jakks forums and read all the threads about what Jakks are doing wrong in people's opinions and go from there. I'd love them to be identical to the Jakks line, so my collection isn't ed over, but it wont happen, so i'll have to wait and see what happens.

If I was Mattel I'd have my case of DCUC Series 3 now. Oh wait sorry I know this is a wrestling board and series 2 is just showing up, but I really want series 3! Anyway first and foremost I'd have the Four Horsemen working on them as well as the DC lines. I'd try and do a legends/classic line. They'd be in ths same style as the DCUC with 21 -25 POA depending on the wrestlers. I'd still reuse basic core parts. But there'd be various sized limbs and torsos that would be scaled better than Jakks. And for guys like the Giant or Khali they'd be BAF's.
