pryo banned at raw
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tonight's Raw is being touted as a must-see show tonight, mainly due to Ric Flair. Reports right now are stating the company will be holding a Ric Flair retirement ceremony and bringing back names from his past to take part (including those on the roster, working backstage and others who haven't been seen on TV for a long time).
Also being advertised for Raw tonight is WWE Champion Randy Orton & JBL vs. John Cena & Finlay. I'm not sure this will be happening. Read the post below this for confirmed RAW matches as I just put them up.
There has been talk as of this afternoon in trying to ban WWE from using pyro at tonight's Raw at the Amway Arena. Local radio show hosts and politicians in the area have been pushing Mayor Buddy Dyer to get it done after the fireworks incident last night. Whether it will happen remains to be seen. WWE opened the Citrus Bowl doors two hours early to allow fans to find their seats before Wrestlemania started.

I doubt this will happen. Hopefully they light up the Amway Arena tonight like every other Monday Night Raw

No. That'd be an over-reaction, Mania was a huge project, on massive scales, things were bound to go wrong at somepoint, Raw is just Raw so i don't envisage an issue, maybe if someone died then i could see why.

Oh no.. not the great pyro that makes a wrestling show a wrestling show. Wait, who cares? It's pyro for the love of God. It's not like they banned wrestling. Honestly, I want them to ban it. Pyro is nice and all but it doesn't make the show.

This is pathetic.
WWE pumps 30 million into your local Florida economy (which by the way is in dire need of help) and you piss all over them in the last night of their festivities.
I live in Florida and that's just pathetic. Way to show your appreciation, people.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say dozens of people were injured at a Wrestlemania event in Orlando when fireworks and cables landed on the crowd. Fans packed the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium Sunday night for the event. Orlando Fire Department spokesman Greg Hoggatt says a cable holding the fireworks collapsed at the end of the show, sending sparkles from the fireworks into the crowd. He says there were burn injuries "up and down the stadium." At least 40 people were injured. Officials say all the injuries were minor, but at least three people were taken to a hospital. Their conditions are not yet known. The phone number for the press relations office at the WWE Corporate Headquarters is busy. A message was left with stadium officials. www1.wsvn.com/news/articles/local/MI81749/

Well obviously they did not stop the WWE from using pyro.. I was actually hoping they would just shoot off pyro the entire opening segment just to piss some people off that wanted it banned.
