...where was Piper tonight? They had Blanchard, Windham and JJ Dillon flown in to honor Flair, but they didn't get his supposed best friend in the wrestling industry?
I just found it odd, especially when I read a few days ago that Ric supposedly thanked a ton of people in his HOF induction speech, but left Piper out. Is it possible they had a falling out or something?

I'm surprised Steve Austin wasn't there. An appearance by Sting would've been cool, but that would've taken away from it being Ric's moment.

Piper's perhaps not necessarily as able to travel as you think...I mean, he is still categorized as a recovering cancer patient.

But he was able to "wrestle" at the Royal Rumble 3 months ago, so why wouldn't he be able to walk to the ring and hug Ric Flair? I mean, if he was able to do that, this was way more important to appear for.

I was waiting for Piper too. I actually thought they'd have him come out last.

And I'm sure that if Roddy was having a bad day, he deeply regrets not being able to make it.
