Rear-naked choke.
Fantastic?... Who'd have thought (apart from the entire Internet) that there was going to be a sequel to The Fantastic Four? Well there is and the news is it's due out in 2007 and without Dr Doom.
Yes, according to the news from The Hollywood Reporter through Cinematical, the entire cast is set to return excluding Julian McMahon - do you think that perhaps he's the only one that had the good fortune to bow out after one? - but don't fear, Alba will still be here. So what else is there?
Who could they be? Well frankly they could still have Doctor Doom and just chuck anyone with a deep voice and an ability to wear a mask while posing with arms outstretched. Not hard. I could do it!
Perhaps we will see Galactus in a Marvel Movie? Though I'd reason for a spiffy Super Skrull. ;D

Wow... I LOVE that pic!
I heard about this else where. I'm happy. I thought the first was a fun movie. A real family superhero movie.

I don't really care for this one... the first was alright, not awful... but certainly not good. I liked it more than "Hulk" and Less than "Daredevil"...
Please don't waste Galactus on F4... Save him for Norrin, plz.

Ugh. The first movie was dreadful, and not much better than the Corman version of FF4. Honestly, unless they make DRAMATIC improvements, I am not interested at all.

Beyond the fact it was aimed at a younger audience that the last bunch of superhero movies. The writing was awful. The acting was terrible. The look of the cast except for Johnny Storm was horrible. The adaptations from their comic book counterparts was not very good, and the special effects were pretty shitty. Umm...aside from that, not much I guess.

I actually like the first one. As long as it's better than the Nick Fury movie, I'm satisfied.
Villains? How about the Skrulls, Annihilus, or Mole Man?

I'll assume it's going to be the Skrulls with Super Skrull as they appeal more towards mass audiences than Mole Man, as he is quite tame (lame ) in comparison to other villains. I prefer the Skrulls, and wouldn't mind if they instead chose Annihilus, but I am fervorly against the Frightful Four. In addition, I think the Marvel powers that be are saving Galactus and Mephisto for the Silver Surfer flick. Though, I wouldn't mind seeing Galactus in Fantastic Four 2.

I am not liking the sound of the sequel. I thought the original was awful. Johnny Storm was cool. Julian McMahon was good as Victor Von Doom, but made a lousy Dr. Doom. Everything else was just bad. And the sequel will have the same actors, writer, and director? Not good.

And the sequel will have the same actors, writer, and director? Not good. I did not like the first film and thought that the only thing positive about it was Chris Evans' portrayl of Johnny Storm and Michael Chiklis' portrayl of Thing. I, too, thought McMahon was a horrible Dr. Doom, and just terrible in the movie. Sequels never fail to be disappointments and I have a feeling that this sequel may continue that trend, but it has grossed $154,677,101 which just puts it out of the USA Top Ten with The Longest Yard at 158,115,031. Moreover, when movies like Hitch and The Longest Yard are in your year's top ten grossing movies, you know you've had a bad year. Which is ironic as this year featured terrific films like Serenity, Good Night and Good Luck, Sin City (which isn't even in the top ten grossing movie of 2005), and Capote.
