So everybody says he would have been one of the biggest stars of all time if it wasnt for the accident. And obviously he was in line for the world title, whats everybodys take on this man?

Well to be honest I was like 1 years old when he was actively wrestling, so I didn't really see him in his prime, but from what i've seen, read etc. he was pretty big - had the look, body, charisma and legion of fans. I guess as said in the 4 Horsemen DVD, he had the potential to become one of the best faces in the world at the time - as he stood up to the horsemen along with dusty. In terms of his status now - I think he would have been a multiple world champ but his image was based around the craze in the 80s of Tom Selleck and men with moustaches. His career would have become stagnant in the early-mid 90s when fashion changed and wrestling became more "real". So to put it finely - his career would have been like that of people like rick rude - famous for a few years but then fade slowly into the background......

Magnum would've been the NWA's version of Hulk Hogan for a while, but I think he would've turned heel and joined the 4 Horsemen at some point.

He would be WWE HOF material. It is a shame what happened.

With a name like that, he would have been destined for greatness.

He would have been the man next to Flair. No doubt about it. Now sign his ass to the classic line!

I love Magnum. He was the everyman character. Think Dusty Rhodes, with less charisma and better physique.
He knew how to get people behind him, because they identified with him. Kind of the way that Bruce Springsteen got famous.
Had he not gotten hurt, he would have at very least become the World champion at some point, though who knows what his legacy would have been.
