I still may not get Cyke varient. I just can't justify rebuying the same mediocre figure. And Angel....I'd only buy another Angel if I could sell it to some kid for 5 times more than it's worth.....

The blue Angel is soooooooooooo much better than the red one. If you only get one, get that one. The Cyke variant could have been better, but they kind of botched the paint job on that one. The stripes are way to thin on the torso. I got a second one in case someone here wanted to trade, but I may end up turning him into a new Captain America, possibly the black version. The black costume, not the black Captain America.

Congratulations of getting Siver Surfer, WOJC. One of my favourites in my collection to be honest. For X-Men, the only figures I'm missing are Phoenix and Storm, last time I checked. And, I'm tempted to get another Galactus Series set, they have it on sale here, for a set of 7 for less than US$30.
I'd just take out the parts + War Machine if I get it. Still debating..hmmm..

I was at my parents for the holidays and retrieved my early ML collection (I have quite a bit of stuff stored there). Man, I forgot how awesome some of those figs are. Fortunately, I caught the ML train on Day 1, when I walked into TRU, saw them and said... "Holy Sh$t those are awesome." I have all of series 1-5, minus the chase/variant figs and series 5 Blade. Then series 6-7 hit so fast I missed them (I don't know what I was doing). I caught about half of series 8 and have all of 9 & 10 and working on 11 now. I will take some pics for you guys at some point. Oh, I also have a lot of the Spider-Man Classics line... all the way back to when they were in the clamshells. But I don't have Scarlet Spider (though I did bag Spidey 2099 and passed on SS multiple times in KB).

Heck yeah man.
For my money, ML 1 Iron Man is still not only the best ML figure, but the best figure I've ever had my grubby paws on. I had Colossus out last night... man that is a sweet fig. The chest joint is loose on mine though, so he always slouches forward.

Its loose on mine as well. Out of Series 1, I'd take Iron Man to be my number one as well.

I never had loose joints on Iron Man. Captain America has some loose ankle joint though.

A little question to discuss in the topic. Which Marvel Legends can you just not get to stand at all? I am having a hell of a time with Bishop and of course, Ultron. Iceman sucks too but I got him to finally stand up on my shelf but Bishop took a dive yesterday and Ultron doesn't stay up for more then like, 3.4 seconds before he topples.
Other then those minor exceptions though, most of mine stay upright all the time.

My ML3 Wolverine has loose knee joints, and gives me problems. Thor being so top heavy also gives me problems. It took me forever to get Iceman on his base, but once I did, I haven't had any problems with it. Blade doesn't like to cooperate for me much either.

So, Scarlet Witch isn't as rare as originaly thought I take it, I found two today at K-Mart. Anybody want to propose a trade for the two MOC ML10 varients?......... I think they look better than their original counterparts now that I have them in person.... As far as joints go, I'm only having problems with ML10 Spider-Man. His leg broke off just bending it once, and it wasn't even stuck. And his foot joints are REALLY loose. That's why I have him on his air-base hanging on a wall. Plus it's a shitty figure anyways.

Yeah, everyone's finding Scarlet Witch now. I just got her to round out my Avengers. Maybe Dinan will take one of your hands.
As far as ML's that fall over, Ultron, Deathlok, War Hulk, Iceman, and XMC Cyclops are the worst offenders.

Deathlok is a bitch to stand. And so is ML9 Bullseye for me, as the "toe" part of the boot is tight.

I don't think Scarlet Witch looks nearly as bad out of the package as she does inside it. The only thing that really hurts the figure is the hip joint, not only becuase it looks ugly, but because it doesn't have a swivel like the other ML females. Mystique had the same joint issue, but at least her skirt thing covered it up. Once you get SW out and put her in the same pose as she is on the back of the package, she doesn't look that bad.

I definately want Scarlet Witch for the Avengers... but have bigger fish to fry for now.
As for Angel/Cyke ml10... I'm not sure which versions I want yet... I still need a cyclops, and will get angel eventually.

I'd stll suggest getting the XMC Cyclops. Most would, myself included. I forgot how big of a bitch Deathlok was to stand, I finally got up to stay up on my shelf that doesn't move often and he hasn't toppled in around 2 months.

If Las Vegas wasn't the ****hole of the United States, I might actually be able to find things other than empty metal hangers.

My Sabretooth topples almost everyday knocking over everyone else. My ML 3 Wolvie also topples now and then. Storm is a bitch to stand if you're not using her base.

Storm and Phoenix wont stand because of the heels on their boots. I have Storm on one of the clear flying stands. And yes, Sabertooth is a pain in the ass to stand, so crouching poses work best.
