how about them... umm... uhh... Chikaras? Those Chikaras are mighty fiesty, but no where near as dangerous as them IWA Mid-Southers. And to vary a wrestling topic, anyone going to a show this weekend? I'm looking at my first double-shot, which will also be my first trip to Boston. |

ok, I am new to the indy scene, but just bought a IWA MS DVD...and want to go to a couple of shows in Dec....how good is IWA MS? is it hardcore, or wrestling, or both?

Does anyone have any recomendations for IWA Deep South? I've been wanting to pick it up for the longest time since they run about 4 1/2 hours - 5 1/2 hours from my house every two months. I just never knew which ones to pick up.

I just never knew which ones to pick up. Angry may very well be the only one here who follows IWA Deep South. Huge hunch. Oh and Slappy, while I get your the monitor being monitored, I think it's pretty obvious I didn't ask Angry for the sole intention of getting under his skin. It's like WWE, I've always been a fan of Smackdown, but lately Raw has been good. I used to be able to point out why Raw sucked, and now I can point out why it's better, and how Smackdown lacks. I know I don't post around here that much anyways, but I always came around to read it, and I gotta say, this is the last straw. I'm out. The indy board has had all of the life and fun sucked out of it. Congrats admins. And don't blame Slappy, for some reason they ignored it when guys like Nathan were the mods, and now that there's a mod who's actually trying to instill some order without being intrusive.. well, the admins decide that's the time to get on his ass too.
Angry and CBT - your fighting is not fun to read and is usually incoherent, so you should take it to the PM box so that nobody else has to suffer through it.
I wonder if this gets deleted..

Carnage Cup 2006 is quite possibly the very best death match tournament I have seen, and I have all the Tournament of Deaths except the two this year, IWA-MS KOTDMs back to 2003, various Japanese death match tournaments, the Queen and Tag tournaments IWA did last year and a couple of Hardcore Cups. It's THAT good. I've heard really good reviews for South of the Border. I was supposed to get it used from a guy, but never recieved it. The show with Necro versus JC in the 30 minute Iron Man death match is must see but apart from that, there isn't much else to see.. If you're looking for a pretty good bargain show, get the 2005 KOTDM. You get the show that got shut down (with a pretty good Diehard versus Brandon Prophet match) as well as the entire actual tournament with Necro-Tank in one of my "top 5 death match" candidate shows. Smart Mark also JUST released the September 1st show they did with Low Ki versus Brain Damage and Chuck Taylor versus Mike Quackenbush in Deep South title versus Mid South title match.. which now makes me $20 less richer.. See, other people follow Deep South around here.. ____________________ In regards to shows this weekend, I was hoping to make the long trek down to Sellersburg for IWA-MS on Sunday, but my buddy Chase that I ride with has to work and even though I was told I could get off, it sounds like I'm doomed for a shitty night without IWA. IPW is running in Indy on Saturday, but no one will get back to me about going.. I heard something about a charity show around here on Saturday afternoon, but haven't heard anything since then.. |

Way to kill my pleasant mood.  I agree almost with everything, and hopefully not bending to far backwards, Angry and me bicker. But that's all it is, far from enough to destroy this board. Trust me, I've seen far worse, and all the while this board was active and fun. So yeah, please don't even unintentionally, please don't blame me. You make good points, this place gets someone that admins are familar with, and it becomes ground zero for guerrilla warfare. I will probably always post here, unlike the comment you made, any disinterest has already came and left. This place will probably never get back the guys I named in the last one. But that doesn't mean that anything that results now is far more of a deterrent than what we've already seen. To avoid pissing on the fire though, I agree with what someone said about the Edison card. This is one of the best cards I've seen them have. At least out of ones I went to. I dunno what has me more excited this weekend; J. Briscoe vs Necro Butcher, Nigel vs Morishima III, or just the fact I'm getting to see two fantastic shows, one being a damn PPV, something I never imagined I'd get to be a part of. |

Slightly funny comment to add. Dad said we can do this, although he keeps pushing other-wise, he said we could do this- If we turn off cable for a month, including internet.  I'm seriously playing the silent card, as so nothing falls through. Oh and for the record, CBT has decided not to wear his Yankee cap. Boston fans should be disappointed.  |

so much for a good weekend of wrestling.. the friend I was going to go to IPW with found out he has to work until 9 PM tonight, effectively missing the show.. Sunday's IWA show in Sellersburg is also an effective no-go, since there is no show.. Driving to Joliet is completely out of the question, so no wrestling this weekend for me |
