This message is being sent to all users that have signed up for an account at Smart Mark Video. We apologize for bothering you, however this is pretty important so we're hoping you understand.
A couple months ago we switched over to an updated version of our old shopping cart. Regrettably that shopping cart has proven to be buggy and was making it difficult to operate for not only us, but a lot of you too. So for the last month we've been privately working on our new site and new cart. Countless hours were spent on moving all 1700+ products to the new site, and after extensive testing and modifications we are ready to open it to the public.
Unfortunately there were a few things that we were unable to do, and the biggest was that we were not able to move your user accounts over to the new store. Everyone will have to sign up all over again on the new cart. We realize this is really inconvenient, and I assure you hours upon hours were spent trying to transfer the user accounts over, but it was not successful. We hope you understand.
The good news is that the new site has a lot more features, is far more interactive and works really smoothly. We're confident that you all will agree that the new site gives you a far better shopping experience, is easier and will not cause the same problems that a number of you were having.
The old site will remain semi-functional for two or so weeks to assure that every order placed on it is delivered. Effective immediately though all pages will forward you to the new site, and we will not be accepting any new orders from the old site.
We hope that you enjoy the new site, which can now be accessed directly at www.smartmarkvideo.com, and ask that if you have any problems to please contact us.
