or just bruised them. i was playing basketball in school ok i was passed the ball but it was wide so i put my hand to get it but it was too wide but my fingers were on the ball and the ball had pulld my fingers with it. it hurt alot. now bout 2and a half hours later my fingers have swollen up and i hav blue bruises on the lower bends on my fingers. so bruised or broken. i mean if theyre bruised ill just tape them 2gether but if broken ill hav 2 go the hospital

you might have just jammed them. i've done that numerous times when playing basketball. can you move them to an extent? and are they numb?

im typin this on my psp cos comps downstairs and i wanna watch tv upstairs its my wRITEing hand my 3rd and 4th finger 4th is numb 3rd is givin me pains i cant clench my fist without severe pain

They don't really do anything for broken fingers at the hospital... They just squeeze them and ask "..does this hurt?  ". |

Doctor Love. No comment. And dude, if it is bugging you so much, it can't hurt to go to the ER. Thing is though, when you break a finger(s) it should hurt at impact, but kind of dull down into an annoyance unless you.... - A. Just bruised it
- B. Broke them very bad, and in more than one place
- C. Stink at sucking it up

Yeh u just jammed them. Used to happen to me all the time playing football, and it got to the point I stopped playing football because the jammed fingers effected my baseball which I was on travel teams for, sucks but they usually get better in 24-48 hours.

The only way to tell if they're broken would be from an X-ray. Stand by while I fire up my home X-ray machine and look at your fingers over the Internet.
