TNA sent out a mobile alert to their subscribers that they are kinda interested in signing Frank Trigg to an announcer contract for commentary and analysis. Trigg is said to be a big wrestling fan and will be at Lockdown to add some insight on the commentary during the Joe vs. Angle match.
For those unfamiliar with Trigg, he has fought for UFC and PRIDE among other MMA organizations with a 16-6 win-loss record. He is currently a color commentator for PRIDE and is hosts an MMA radio show.

Trigg has done commentary before on MMA shows, I believe the Pride USA shows & he was good.
In MMA he was a solid fighter, if you're interested in seeing him check out his second match with matt Hughes, an incredibly intense match.

Its about time. Im sick of Don West. However, if they take Mike Tenay out, ill be pissed off. I disagree; Mike Tenay has to go! He is too annoying with all his factoids and technical jibberish during the matches; along with those damn stupid "interviews" he does. I even hated him in WCW. His voice just makes me cringe! Bring in Tony Schiavone! |

would be a good move. would add some MMA flavor and perhaps opportunities to cross the line. and would be a refreshing change. I think West should do more backstage reporting

They should train him to be a pro wrestler... a Trigg/Angle feud would be badass. I always wanted to see Couture train to be a wrestler to feud with Angle, but I'd settle for Trigg.
