Hey guys,
I've gotten a good number of stuff in the mail the last week or two and I thought I'd share some pics with you of the stuff I bought.
Basically, other than the one CS figure I received as a gift recently, everything I bought is from years past during Jakks Pacific's Bone Crunching Action (BCA) and Titantron Live (TTL) figure lines of the late 90s to early 2000s. So, without further or do, here are some pics of my recent buys both on eBay and spam with pics of my rebuilt BCA collection to follow.
---------------------
First off is a used BCA Mark Henry figure I bought for a couple of dollars shipped on eBay. This particular Henry figure is a harder one to find as it belonged to the Live Wire Series, Series 2, which was exclusive to Kmart stores, I believe. It also features Henry in his later NOD attire colors:
Next, I received this CS13 Al Snow as a gift a little while back; very nice figure and I'm surprised it doesn't get as much acknowledgment as it should.
Here we have a BCA 2 Tuff Series 3 Corporate Mankind and Kane 2-Pack, which also includes Mankind's removable mask:
I received this next small lot although I only really wanted the Live Wire Series 2 Marc Mero (same series as Mark Henry above), so I just kept the Bend-ems Mero MOC.
This great Mero figure (minus the Everlast logo ) also came with one of the coolest colored trash cans Jakks has ever made; I don't even know if this colored trash can was ever released again.
I won these two TTL figures from the SmackDown Series 5 set on eBay for around $10-11 shipped; arguably one of the best Undertaker figures ever made (and repainted later for a CS3 release) and Angle’s first-ever wrestling figure:
And, trying the singlet out on one of Angle’s last Jakks figures (RA22):
And, Taker’s accessories:
Here we have another BCA figure I bought on eBay that was once a KB exclusive set known as Backlash (the original, not the ****ty TTL repaints). This is Series 4 Billy Gunn with Jakks going for the “The One” Billy Gunn look which was also available in TTL form at the time (see: the back carding). These Backlash repaints were pretty cool for updated 2000-2001 attires, which you’ll see more of in my collection later:
And, here is an order I placed with spam for their $5 BCA sale; I spent about $53 shipped on everything, which wasn’t too bad as I really needed some of these:
As well as Edge's first wrestling figure from Superstars Series 7:
In my next post, I’ll post pictures of my rebuilt (as of the last few months) Jakks BCA collection.
Thanks for looking…so far.
