I have that figure. Kickass SS. It was his first GI Joe version of SS following his turn from Cobra. The only thing I didnt like about it was it had a stupid action feature. His first figure as a Joe was in 1988 series man. Very similar to NF though with the hood etc  You're replying to a post that's 14 years old. |

*sigh* it's pure nostalgia and the fact that they've taken an approach to upscale these 3 3/4" versions to 1:12 scale that just works for me, but damn if I don't admit how Hasbro is plundering and pillaging my dignity - Dr. Mindbender is a glorified box. Granted the box art is stellar, but he comes with so little, he could easily be a mainline figure. Of course I'll still get it, but I am ashamed knowingly and willingly getting screwed.

UGH Target just canceled all of my Classified pre-orders... Tiger Force Outback, Python Patrol Viper X2, and a Python Patrol B.A.T.
I've had these in place for months. The official reason was a problem with my Red Card, but that's nonsense, as I just used it to order groceries for pickup this weekend.
Anyone else??

UGH Target just canceled all of my Classified pre-orders... Tiger Force Outback, Python Patrol Viper X2, and a Python Patrol B.A.T. I've had these in place for months. The official reason was a problem with my Red Card, but that's nonsense, as I just used it to order groceries for pickup this weekend. Anyone else?? not with my Joe orders, but one of the Legends sets I pre-ordered, I think it was series 12, they did that. cancelled saying there was a problem with my payment, yet I used my redcard. when i contacted customer service they just told me to re-order the items (even after I explained they were sold out online) |

Was able to get a re-order in for TF Outback, but haven't been able to reorder the Viper or B.A.T. yet. It may not matter ultimately, if they get canceled again. Really rolling the dice with Target these days, it would appear.

Could use a little display inspiration for my CS figures, if anyone has photos of their setup to share. All my wrestling shelves are just pretty standard rows, but that feels so much more bland for the Joes.

After last night. There is a pipe dream figure I hope will be made. As a kid, my favorite Joe was Footloose, because his card art and figure looked JUST like my dad, and was in what I pictured my Dad wore in the jungles and fields of Vietnam. Like a lot of little boys my dad was my hero, so that figure was my go to figure. He would go on all the big missions, never get hurt, win the battle for them. Everything. My dad was a Silver AND Bronze star that he earned in Vietnam. As I for older I kept Footloose until I lost him when I was 18. Last night, after a valiant fight with lung cancer, and the treatments that were healing him making him really sick. He got aspirated pneumonia, and we lost him. Last night I lost my true hero. Let me tell you guys, I've lost friends and family, Broken bones and torn ligaments. THIS is the WORST pain I've ever felt. My heart feels like it was ripped in two...and I don't know how I'm going on...and seeing my mom deal with it all...that's just the worst. So, I'm hoping that by SOME MIRACLE, they announce a Footloose figure with everything he came with in '85. It might be a pipe dream. But I'm hoping for it.

Ordered a Zarana and a Crimson Guard from Amazon. I can't believe they are "making" me get another Zartan. This 3rd version is the one I wanted from the beginning. Slaughter is going to be awesome.

I preordered Dusty and a Crimson Guard from Big Bad. I was tempted to get a couple more Crimson Guards, but decided to pass because of space issues.
