Yeah, I dont see Cap siding with the pro-public IDs. It goes against everything American Cap stands for. And I dont mean like current America, but the basic ideals of America. There was something a while ago that had Cap say something to that affect-he's loyal to the principles even if they defy current "law".
Iron Man is a businessman first and foremost. He'll just drop trou if his dolla-dolla might be in jeopardy.
And Spidey will, yet again, be the guy in the middle. Swear "loyalty" to someone who makes you do something you dont think is right or stay a rebel and turn your back on your allies? And Newsarama already spoiled that the FF are going to be split on this.
I'm intrigued, but all House of M really did was affect the mutants and, to an extent that was utterly crushed by "The Others" storyline, Spidey. Now if they somehow tie the two together, then MAYBE it'll be worthwhile.
But I get kinda bored when "real world" events have to be mirrored in comics. I get enough reality NOW. I go read comics to escape it once in a while.
