First up is Spider Hulk, who I was really looking forward too. Thankfully, he didn't disappoint. He uses the War Hulk sculpt, which was one of my favorites. If there's any flaw, it's the oversized chin, which makes him look like a duck from certain angles. Next is Hyrdro Man, who I didn't want initially, because I thought he'd suck. He pretty much does suck, especially with the lack of elbow joints. I basically bought him to round out my Spidey rogue's gallery. Last is Hobgoblin, who was the most anticipated figure in the set. Hobby here has cracked my top 5 ML styled figures. He's an incredible figure, with all the right details, and the perfect accessories. His one flaw, is that the pumpkin bomb can't be removed from his hand unless you cut it off. It doesn't bother me, and I see it as a minor flaw in an otherwise top notch figure.

Here's a shot of my dusty, and crowded Spidey shelf.

that hobgoblin looks absolutely fantastic. If i had the room the collect marvel legends or spiderman classics, he'd be damn near the top of the list. on the flipside, hydro man looks pretty god awful.

Honestly, WTF is Spider Hulk. I must have missed that story. Looks cool regardless. I just hope I can find that set.

Congrats on the finds.I really thought this wave would be out in mass by now.....but appearantly Toybiz is in no hurry at this time. That Spider-Hulk is probably one of the bigger surprises of the entire line to date.I mean its an obscure reference, and the figure does not suck. That Hydro-Man is somewhat of a disappointment in terms of articulation,BUT, I want to get at least 1 of every Spidey rogue they make in this scale.I am the same way with Batman rogues too. So,if for no other reason,Hydro makes a great expansion in that collection.I don't think I can add anything to what you said about Hobby. It looks to be a great figure (and one of my most wanted....I never really counted that "Demo-Goblin" looking fig as a Hobby).Again ,congratulations, and hopefully we will all be finding these very soon.

I never get to Wal-Mart because of my schedule but usually Toys R Us and Target gets in all the new sets as well so maybe they will have them this week.
Hobby looks awesome, who cares about the pumpkin bomb being attached to his hand? I would almost prefer it that way.

After thinking about it, I agree with you Icey. If the pumpkin bomb wasn't glued on, I'd probably lose it. And since he only comes with one, it'd suck if I did.

yeah, for posing him, having that bomb stuck to his hand keeps it from falling off and getting lost. I can deal with THAT much more than a low articulated Hydro.
Oh well, I'll still get him for my rogues collection.
