So, thanks for all that helped me with the stuff on CoIE. Now, I'm just a beginner. So I want lots of suggestions of stuff to get.
My favorite comic book superhero is, by far, Superman. Don't ask me why or flame me for it. I just want to know what Superman stories to pick up. I currently own The Death of Superman and World Without a Superman. I'm open to anything but prefer graphic novels right now since they're the story in one book.
What about other cross-over stories? Are there ones that are must haves? I know there is a Marvel Civil War starting and DC is finishing another series based from Crisis. Should I start getting into those?
I also like Green Lantern (I own Emerald Twilight) and The Flash. So what stuff should I get of theirs.
I guess I like DC Comic heroes more than Marvel. But I also like Spider-Man and The Fantastic Four. So suggestions, one and all...PLEASE
These stories are so interesting and I'm just starting to scratch the surface.

Kingdom Come is a great Superman story starring everyone in the DCU in a distopian future where the line between superhero and supervillain is blurred. The art by Alex Ross is gorgeous. Quite frankly one of the best superhero comics ever.
Green Lantern: Rebirth is great. It' as great jumping on point for new GL readers or ones that have been away for a while. It nicely tells a sort of origin story for the resurgence of the Green Lantern Corps.
Identity Crisis is the best DC story in years. It'd be especially great if you can experience the story without knowing anything about it.

I'll second CS in saying both Kingdom Come and GL:Rebirth are great reads. Also try Superman for All Seasons by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, and Flash trades written by Geoff Johns.
If you like Spidey, read his Ultimates version. Recently, they are much more fun, easier to read, and just better than the ones set in the regular Marvel universe. Some stories are hit or miss (avoid the one where he and Wolverine switch bodies AT ALL COSTS) but they have that sense of adventure that currently is lost in the main titles.

I would definately pick up Identity Crisis, and follow it up with the Infinite Crisis mini-series leaups Villains Unites, OMAC Project, Rann/Thanagar War, and Day of Vengeance. Also, the Wonder Woman/Superman 4 part series that I can't remember the name of at the moment, but it is a pivotal part of IC as well. I believe these are all vailable in trade now. Then follow that up with the 7 part Infinite Crisis.

Sacrifice is the WW/Supes story. Very pivotal to the lead up to IC.

I'd skip Rann/Thanagarian. Its not a bad story, but its only got a few IC tie ins and most of them are explained in the main IC series later on anyway. And OMAC is good for the first half, but kinda peters out in the end into too much cyber-babble.

The only Superman realted stuff i have read, would be For All Seasons. It is really good, but do not expect too much superhero-stuff. It deals more with Superman coming of age. It is a really good book though.

So, let me make sure I got this straight:
Superman:[/u] Superman For All Seasons Kingdom Come
DC Cross-Overs:[/u] Crisis on Infinite Earths Identity Crisis Villains Unites, OMAC Project, Rann/Thanagar War, and Day of Vengeance, Sacrifice as lead ups to Infinite Crisis Infinite Crisis
Green Lantern:[/u] Rebirth

Yup, those are good reads.
If you want to read something NOT with superheroes, I would also suggest Fables, Y:The Last Man, and The Walking Dead. They're all VERY good reads and the trades are relatively cheap.

The Walking Dead and Invincible are musts.
DC-wise, The Dark Knight Returns and the Dark Knight Strikes Again are some of the best things I've ever read. So dark, but so good. Hush was also a good storyline, but not as good as everyone had said.
Marvel-wise, I stick to USM and the Punisher. USM is just too damn good, and Punisher is over the top and gritty and just fun to look at/read. If you have the macabe tastes I do.

For the Man who has Everything and Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow are great. They were written by Alan Moore, who is a genius in comics... Though he's certifiable.
For non-Superman...
Any JSA Any Loeb/Sale Batmans (Long Halloween is my favorite) Batman: Arkham Asylum The Watchmen (brilliance) League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (curse the makers of the film) Cosmic Oddysey
