We all know Fox rushed X-3 out so that it wouldn't have to compete with Superman. Has anyone wondered what if X-3 ends up making more than Superman? Would Fox wish they'd not rushed the movie? Would they realise the error of there ways? Would X-4 be anounced?
What do you think will happen is X-3 has better rates than S-R?

I dunno why, but I dont think Supes is going to do as good as people think its going to do.
He's cool, but I'm not even interested in seeing it really.

It'll be interesting to see if the general publics accepts a silverscreen live action Superman as well as they did in the past.

I still think X-Men would've topped Superman at the box office. Like Geetar mentioned, there is not guarantee that people will be as excited as there where in the past. It'll be a big hit though.

I think Superman will succeed on a lot of levels. The family friendly factor is obviously there. The marketing factor is there, as always. I think the fact that they've tried to kinda connect it to the Christopher Reeve flicks will help with the acceptance a bit. It's not like a redo or a fresh start, it's building off of what's there to a certain extent.
I think that Fox was smart to keep the 2 movie releases apart. Supes would have hurt the X-3 totals a bit. . . . .not so much in the long haul, but initially for sure.

Superman better do good, from what I've heard it has cost over 300 mill to make. I think it will be great, it looks awesome (aside from the costume), and i think that people will go see it and that it will do better than x-men.

I think Superman will do better. He's just such a more popular hero than the X-Men. Superman smacks of Americana and X-Men doesn't.
