Forgive me if this has been discussed, I post in the Classic Board very rarely.
Anyway, over the tenure of the Horsemen, it became rather obvious that certain people (Paul Roma and Steve McMichael come to mind) never should've even been allowed to break down a ring Ric Flair had wrestled in, let alone be a member of the most dominant stable of the 80s and early 90s.
But is there anyone you think would've been a good fit, but for some reason, never made it?
My pick is Lance Storm...and I'm fairly certain that had he gone to WCW just a year or two earlier, he probably could've been.

Either Storm or Regal.
Bare in mind I didn't watch alot of WCW back then, so i'm only becoming knowledgable about the Horsemen now.. but from what I understand both have what it took.

Stunning Steve Austin back around 92/93, would have been the perfect replacement for Tully Blanchard, wore a flashy robe, was a good wrestler, was also TV champ around this time and that was Tully's main belt also.

Piper didn't need the Horsemen, he was an over and amazing heel by himself.
Owen Hart would've fit in though, provided he was in the WCW at the time, especially in 1997-1998.

Curt Hennig could have worked. He was a Horseman...for slightly more than a fortnight.

If Luger was a Horseman, then anybody could have been one.

I always thought that Greg Valentine would have made a great replacement for Ole in the beginning.

Lance storm being a Horsemen wouldnt have worked.
I dont know. just for a second vision him being a horsemen. The Horsemen had some type of UHMP to them. Lance doesnt scream that. He's more of the silent techincal wrestler
its hard to explain

I really couldnt see guys like Storm, Jericho, or Regal in it. Stunning Steve could have been a great replacement for a Tully Blanchard. Jeff Jarrett , although considered a Horsemen by many, wouldnt make a bad Horsemen as well. I think it would be more of a "dont piss me off gimmick" then the "hey im a country star" gimmick that they tried

I agree greatly with Lance Storm and Jericho, they would have worked very well towards the end in a Benoit/Malenko type era.
I could have seen the likes of Dick Murdoch, Stan Hansen working nicely in a Horseman role back in the day, but maybe they were a bit too well established as singles wrestlers the Horsemen.
Really, there is a formula for the Horseman.
Ric Flair (leader) + Hard hitting Tag Team + Tall fella = Horseman (with option of a manager)
