As of late some parents are trying to blame WWE for their childs actions of killing some one by imitating some moves. But if I recall WWE has the whole Don't Try this at home thing so you know its not WWE's fault. I blame the parents for not watching their children and allowing the children to take wrestling so serious. I mean recently a 14 year old kid has killed another kid by doing a wrestling move. At 14 years old you should have some common sense to know not to do this kinda thing, so there ya go.

Word to the wise... it's always the parents... the media is just a scapegoat for their lack of proper parenting abilities.

Of course the parents are going to blame someone else. They aren't going to say "hey, we ed up our kids because we don't know how to be a good parent".

It doesn't take a very smart person to realize that if unwatched a 14 year old would really hurt a 2 year old if the played together very long. Again this is just bad parents trying to blame the WWE hoping to get money for their stupidity. Why is smackdown the one blamed every time what do these people not have cable channels and see Raw?

To quote a certain Academy Award-nominated song...
The smut we must stop The trash we must bash The Laughter and fun Must all be undone We must blame them and cause a fuss Before somebody thinks of blaming us!

It's gotten to a point now where peoples' igorance, irresponsibility, and even stupidity is now catered to. That's the way it is now at the retail workplace for me.

The WWE had no control over the 14 year olds actions, this is so stupid to blame them.

It's ignorant to act as though we never did these things, and our parents never knew. How many of you wrestled with your brothers or sisters pretending you were Ultimate Warrior, or the Undertaker? I know I did it, my parents would yell at me for rough housing but truth be told I was not being anymore rough then I was with any other games I played. The real problem here is peoples need to blame things, these are freak accidents and they're sad. Yes on occasion it is neglect, but alot of times it's just a freak accident. I've done idiotic things as a kid, and so have you, my parents are awesome, I was just being a kid. Is it the parents fault? Not neccesarily. Is it the WWE? Not neccesarily either. It's just a sad accident often.

i wonder if a kid died while playing football in his backyard if parents would then blame the NFL... Would you blame the parents? But while you're on the subject, it's not the same thing. To play devils advocate the NFL is not a marketed fighting show. It's not directly marketed towards kids, and the idea is not to inflict pain on your opponent. The WWE and wrestling in general is better compared to the UFC in this sense as it's purpose seems to hinge on causing pain and incapasition to ones opponent. You simply cannot compare a sport in which there is contact with a sport/show which violence is the purpose. Boxing/UFC/etc. all are far better comparisons then football, hockey, or traditional sports of these sorts.
